SUMITOMO Ice Edge Studable-Winter Radial Tire - 215/65R16 98T

I use to buy Michelin x-ice for winter driving in Alaska. But, they’re expensive. After reading reviews I bought a set of Sumitomosfor my 2008 Sienna Van last year. Better than the Michelin.Quiet, exceptional performanceEspecially on ice. I drive without studs and FWD traction is excellent!

Wanted to run a season before I commented on them. Awesome snow traction in the snow belt by Utica NY. Wear very well, a two season snow easily, three if you have a shorter winter or don't run past snow threat. Great in Rain. Fine on dry roads.A little bit of noise compared to all season tires but on par with any good snow like Blizzak or Cooper Winter. On an AWD Volvo.

Great traction. They have taken more than their fair share of abuse this winter.Theses tires have been excellent even though I hit a curb hard while avoiding a multicar accident and bent a rim. Still drive great, quiet, and grab well even on a bent wheel. I ordered new rims to transfer them to for next year.

The tires were amazingly awesome in the snow and ice I ran them for about nine months up here in the mountains of Colorado and they still have plenty of tread on them I would highly recommend getting a set.

Love these tires! Very current production, 39th week of 2019, Balanced out with very little weight. Extremely quiet on the highway. Smooth ride. Excellent price. Haven't had any snow yet, forecast for this weekend. I would definitely buy these again .

Very pleased with the performance of this tire through a varying range of winter weather here in Maine. Mounted on steel rims on our 2016 VW Tiguan, non studded.
