Have been using this for last few years and no complaints. Easy to use , just a little bit is good enough for my cooking. Being a concentrate,taste and flavour is not affected at all. I have tried other brands but they put salt in it and taste is very off . Tamicon is my favourite, i use it to make chutneys , in sambhar and many other things . Hope my review helps . :)

Though the contents mention that it contains only tamarind, but it tastes is as if jaggery is added. It is sour but the unique taste of tamarind is missing. It tastes more like sour burnt molasses.

I wanted to commend the seller. I had a complaint of the Tamicon product. The Seller wrote immediately to see how he could rectify the review and even sent me another container to show me the product was not poor in quality. And it was not. I am glad, since I use this product heavily. The product is excellent. Very pleased with it, (I buy it in the US as well) and so I feel he did everything to make the customer happy. Thank you.

Product OK by packing was poor. Came in open condition, half spilt in a mess.

Very convenient to use. Gives a natural flavour of tamarind without the hussle of soaking, mashing etc.The only problem is as it is concentrated, colour of the paste is too dark, which might be a problem for some dishes. For sambhar and pani puri etc. Its perfect
