I gave this as a gift and my mother absolutely loves it. I know she isn't just saying this because I see her using it all the time. She didn't realize how much detail she was missing making her necklaces she sales. The bright lights make all the difference in the world she says and having both hands available to glue saves her so much time. She also takes it downstairs and keeps it near when she opens her mail and uses it for fine print. She hasn't had to recharge it yet after a month and my Dad is happy batteries won't be needed. She likes that it isnt a permanent fixture or another stand taking up room on her desk. It's not heavy but quality built. Comfortable handle when holding long periods and the lightt switch is easily accessible. She is real happy and gets a lot of use out of it almost daily.

I bought this thinking it would stand up by itself and would be big enough. Well it does stand up by itself, but the design doesn't allow you to stand it upright and just tilt the magnifier part which is what I thought it would do. It's made more as a handheld device. Then it has a small circle which is probably the 11X magnifier. It's annoying because it blocks your view if you're looking through the larger glass. So with the extra magnifier the viewable screen is actually smaller that it states. After discussing this with the seller, they were kind enough to work with me on a solution and I'm very happy. If you're looking to view a small item or a few words at a time, this is a great little magnifier.

This is a very inexpensive articulating, illuminated magnifying glass that allows people who wear glasses to be able to work on things without them. I actually bought this device to tighten the screws on my prescription glasses and sunglasses.

Bright, lightweight, easy to use.I did manage to scratch the plastic lens with the small tool I was using almost immediately; however, I think it is about the best plastic lens a person can expect.The only thing I can think of that would make it better is having a glass lens but that would also make it heavier and/or unbalanced.Slightly unconventional use: discovered a serious ingrown hair problem after having a cast removed from my leg. Magnifying with bright lights and Razor Bump surgical tweezers are a fantastic combo!

I got one of these for myself and one for a friend who just turned 70. There are some things that it's difficult to see even with my glasses on, and while I had a nice illuminated magnifying glass, I had to hold it, which meant it wasn't useful for things like threading needles. My friend says it's the best present ever: it lets her do things she hasn't been able to do for years, because now she can see what she's doing.The hinge is a little stiff, but the magnifier works just as described. Everyone with older eyes should have one.

Easy to use. Can use hands free which comes in quite handy! I'm able to use it to view a wide variety of things because of this.Great light.Great quality for very low price! Bought a 2nd one for my Dad, and he uses it mostly for coins and stamps. He says he really likes his as well!

This magnifying glass is amazing, it can be hand held or stand alone. The led ligh is really good, it has 2 modes, one is dim and the other bright. I mainly use it to read at night, this would be a great gift for any bookworm out there. Highly recommend. My only complain is the charging cable being short, but the cord can be replace or you could use batteries which is better, doesnt come with the batteries so you'll have to buy 3 aaa battery, overall, it's great.

I wanted to buy something to use when I make deal with small things. I liked the price of this glass. Came with a little bit damaged package. I use it with a USB cable, light is very bright. Very convenient to use. Good glass for a reasonable price
