Slick in action, slick in hand
I just got my knife order a couple of hours ago. I had to write a review of my initial thoughts on this knifePro: Great priceButter smooth actionPretty easy to bring it up to a hair popping edge just by stropping it. The edge had a micro roll over out of the box.Liner lock engages and disengages smooth with about 30% lock up. Room to wear in.Pocket clip seems robust and springy.Blade is centered perfectly between the scales.Finger cut out in liner behind the blade is very comfortable. No hot spots that dig into the hand.No overly sharp edges on the scales that I’ve found.Con: Carbon Fiber is an overlay on what seems to be G-10 scales. So they aren’t solid Carbon Fiber.Slick grip due to Carbon Fiber. I like carbon fiber and I expected it to be slick since I own other knives with CF.Edges on the scales could be chamfered a bit.The grind is very slightly off center at the tip but almost unnoticeable.I couldn’t take it apart to look at the inside. I think they used a permanent loctite. So you can’t adjust the tension as the bladeand pivot wear in.Pocket clip screws had no loctite. You should really fix this to keep your clip.

Best value! - Easy to open, locks tightly, comfortable to carry, easy to sharpen. Elegant!
Received today. I opened and closed it about 1,000 times. Applied paper test. Shaved hair off arm. Inspected closely. Carried in pocket for several hours. The summary:Pros:Inexpensive, but doesn't look or feel like it.Beautifully engineered design. Simple, but elegant. It arrived sharp, but I stropped it anyway. It took less than a minute to get a razor edge.Blade design is easy for beginners to learn to sharpen.Easy to open & close.Ball bearing provides smooth operation.Professional look makes it suitable for business carry.Comes in a nice retail box with "frogskin" protective pouch (will never use the pouch, but it's a nice addition)Cons:(this is me nickpicking. There are no major cons)Pocketclip cannot be moved to opposite side.Pocketclip is attached with two different screw types. Does not affect performance, but is just an oddity.Handles are mostly plastic with about 1/16" carbon fiber laminateYou can still see the grind marks on blade, as it has not been given a more polished finish.Blade markings are printed. Requires extra care to prevent them being removed if polishing to a more uniform near-mirror appearance. Both ends of the handle are plastic & carbon fiber, which is not suitable as a glass breaker.

Good for price
Detent is very stiff. Kind of uncomfortable to flip. Maybe it needs a break in but after oil on the detent ball and continuing to flip it’s still pretty stiff. Great user though. Blade is slicey and sharp. Looks great, smooth ply carbon fiber handles allows going in pocket smoothly. Def worth the money.

Great value for the money
This is my first Ganzo and like most of the other reviews, I have to say this is a great value for the money. The knife comes with a very nice edge on it. The action is very smooth. And we all know the D2 is very well heat treated thanks to the customers that have had it tested. The only things I can say that would be sorta negative would be that it is a little thick and heavy compared to any of my Kershaws and Spydercos. And the ergonomics aren't the greatest for me on this particular model. But these are very nit-picky things I still carry the knife no problem. It feels like a well put together knife that can handle some hard use. For the price you definitely can't go wrong. Even if you're more into the more expensive knives, give Ganzo a try I think you'll be very pleased for under $30.

Awesome knife
This knife is an incredible value for the money. Craftsmanship is excellent, D2 steel blade is razor sharp out of the box. Carbon fiber scales are beautiful and have a 3D appearance. The flipper action is very smooth, and the blade deploys reliably every time. Blade is perfectly centered when closed, no play when deployed. The steel liners are set into the scales so do not add additional thickness. Liner lock has a very positive engagement but is not difficult to release one handed. The only drawbacks I can see are the weight...it's a little heavy for the size, and the ergonomics...the handle has a fairly angular design and is not the most comfortable in the hand. The G10 handle looks like it'd be better in this regard. Overall, I don't think there is a better knife for the money.

Ganzo, the best budget knives around.
Ganzo Knives always fail to disappoint. This knife is no exception, the blade is perfectly centered, very smooth deployment, evenly ground. The handle is a little slick, I would have liked a little bit of texturing for added grip, but as it is, you do have a solid hold of the knife. The liner lock is excellent, it's rounded and smooth so it doesn't cut up your thumb. It's a pretty early lock-up, my personal preference is a late lock-up, but it's reasonably secure regardless. The pocket clip is reversable for left or right hand carry, but it does not allow for tip-down carry. The finish quality is good, it's all machined and there are no hard edges. I've yet to find any hot-spots but time will tell for that.Overall an excellent knife, and I would say it would be worth it even if they doubled the price.

Happy Happy
This is the third one of these I have had and have loved every one, the blade is extremely sharp when you get it.the durability of the entire knife is great.so you wonder why I have had 3.it is because the first two I had to give up each with went through the check in on a cruse we were taking. It is very light weight and composer the blade size.if you get one you will be extremely satisfied.

Excellent value
Perfect size for EDC(every day carry), very good flipper action & sharpness. Only minor complaint is that the pocket clip is a little tight.
