I can’t gush enough about how much I LOVE this book. It is possibly my all time favorite book, if not, definitely top 3.It’s deep and spiritual and inspiring and beautiful… and yet it’s so easy to read. I’m planning on reading it a few times. There is no chance you’ll regret buying and reading this book.

Great in every way

I purchased the audible version and must say that it is a book that ought to be read by everyone as part of one's curriculum. Our world would be a different one.The narrator speaks clearly and without much intonation or emphasis on the words which makes you participate in the experience by opening your mind which leads you to open your heart in ways never thought of before. The experience is incomparable.I definitely recommend this book. You will not regret reading/listening to it.

This book changed the way I viewed Mary and Joseph. It reinforced the stories of the bible but allowed me to see Mary in all her virtues, as well as Joseph. This book was truly lifechanging for my faith.

I am finding this book to be a wonderful mystic compilation of Our Blessed Mother's life. You are encouraged in the foreword to read it as a religious novel; this is very good advice as it is really difficult to know exactly what happened in Mary's life. But just reading this mystic account gives me some excellent direction for how to live a better life by trying to follow in Mary's footsteps - e.g. give more to the poor, be more humble in difficult situations, trust God completely and pray always. I consider it a blessing to be reading this book!

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I started this 70 year old book. I am a convert to the Catholic Church only seven years. My journey with Mary has been very interesting. As a Protestant I remember no extensive teaching on Mary. It was only at Christmas and Easter that I would read her name and then only in the context of the Infancy narratives or the Passion of Christ. This compilation of 4 mystics personal revelations and what they had “seen” from Mary sounded intriguing. I was not disappointed. In fact I was deeply moved and inspired by this compilation of the 4 mystics’ description of what Mary’s life on earth and final Assumption to heaven was like. Raphael Brown’s gift was to make what could have been a dry reading into almost a narrative page turner. It strengthened my faith. I recommend it’s reading to those who have an “ears to hear.”

A really excellent insight into the life of Our Blessed LadyIf you wish to learn more about the early and later stages of the life of Mary(as well as St Joseph and the early life and later public ministry of Our Lord),then this book contains vivid accounts of the above from devout mystics such as Anne Catherine Emmerich.It is a fascinating read. One grows closer to the heart of Mary, whose life was one of obedience to God, holy service to Jesus and her community, whilst keeping in her heart the knowledge of the suffering and sacrifice that Jesus was to make. Would highly recommend reading these descriptive and moving mystical accounts of the life of Mary.

Beautiful little book interesting scenes from the life of Mary and Jesus.And Mary's protection of the Church.Nicely written

I loved this book it opened my eyes to what really happened to Jesus and Mary. I would highly recommend it.

I have listened to the audio. I loved it. So I decided to buy this for my father, who is enjoying and can't put it down.

For those who love the Blessed Virgin Mary this is an inspirational and consoling book. It is well written, uncomplicated yet profound.
