Concentrate Setting Lotion 8 oz. # Rg-Df8

No good! LottaBody works much better. I tried just diluting it 1part lotion, 5 parts water and it STILL got too thick to spray! It was seriously like jello.

I keep this stuff on hand because I tutor students who are preparing for the NY state cosmetology exam. For the pin curl and finger wave procedures, only a lotion with the consistency of water is allowed -- and this is the stuff!It smells comfortingly (or disturbingly) old-fashioned salon-like. This is concentrated, so you need to mix it up. I've had success shaking the bottle like crazy and mixing only half at a time. Move quickly, because the solids will settle pretty rapidly. It takes a bit of time for the lotion to fully develop, so give yourself a day before you need it.And other than for state board purposes... yes, it actually works as a setting lotion.

What I noticed first is that once the product is mixed with water, it is to become thick with a gel like consistency, this product DOES NOT, it is watery with not at all worthy to use on my hair. I have been using DryFast Concentrate Setting Lotion beginning in the 1970's, not only becoming a hairdresser, owning and operating my Beauty Salon and Supply, while teaching beauty college and I have never witnessed anything this horrible!!! This product is not DRYFAST and to sell this crap for what you are asking is not only a fraud but your robbing the consumer!!!

I just got the product in the mail today. After opening the box I noticed that some have spilled. :( I have not used it yet but I'm afraid when I do use that's it's not going to work. I will post an update after using it. I hope it works.

THE SELLER IS CLEARLY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF BUYERS ON THIS PRODUCT. ALTHOUGH THEY DO NOT MAKE IT ANY MORE IT DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO CHARGE 10X`S THE TYPICAL PRICE. IT IS PURE GREED. My mother used to use this setting lotion on our hair when she roller set our hair & I KNEW I was too cute, Thanks Mom(RIP). I always continued to buy this product for my hair but the beauty stores stopped selling it; so I had to look for it online & here it is on Amazon. This is the BEST SETTING LOTION EVER & is not very known to hairstylist. It makes a gallon of lotion because its concentrated & the smell is great. The texture is slimy but that's what makes it work so good. I also used it to wrap & set my hair; and when its set the lotion leaves my hair FULL OF BODY, WITH BOUNCE & SHINE; it also really does dry fast!! I FULLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!

Dislike the product it was too thin,I followed the instructions and it was thin.

Great setting lotion for when I set my hair with pin curls. Makes me look like I have natural curly hair and my hair is poker straight! My hair stays curly longer than if just setting with water.
