This would work brilliantly on grey hair , leave on dry hair for about a hour , rinse in cool water

Does this shampoo keep blue hair from fading?

Yes even if you haven’t got blue hair , you will once you have used this product last a few washes

Does it work in dark hair?

I wouldn't really say so. My natural hair is a lighter brown and the blue doesn't really pick up, it goes like a grey sort of colour but isn't noticeable. Fantastic on the ends though. The purple wash shows up better on my darker hair.
