Stencil Essential Kit, Dense Foam Roller, White Bristle Brush and Clip-On Level Multi-Function Tool

We've been using this kit the last couple of days. Love the results. Does work best with flat paint on flat paint. We took back the slightly higher sheen top color as the design really does bleed more. Practice first...that's when we found this out. Also dab excess on paper towels per video. But the kit is easy to use and we love the results. Only thing we felt it should have included was a small tip paint brush for touch ups. You will need that. And clean up was a breeze. Although they don't tell you, just lay the film in a bathtub with Dawn dish soap and the paint slides right off with little effort or soaking. Now we can save the stencil to use again for another project. Very happy!

I think the spirit level was of definitive help while doing stencil work.But even though it was useful, I think its a little overpriced. Like another reviewer said: you can make one of your own for probably less than a $

I purchased this set to go with my Marrekesh stencil and was so glad I did. The clip on level made the job so easy and quick. I'm so thankful I didn't use a full sized level. It may have saved me money, but it would have been a bear. The high density roller makes your stenciling job go quickly and makes loading the right amount of paint painless. The small brush was great up in the corners and by the crown molding and baseboards. I highly recommend this set if you are doing wall stenciling as it will make your job so much easier.

We bought this kit for our accent wall project. The clip-on level was pretty cool and helped a lot with alignment.But, my husband struggled with the roller (using a lot of pressure and reapplying paint several times for each stencil application). The second day, the kit roller was still wet. We decided to use a similar foam roller that we already had. It worked so much better than the one that came in this kit. We only needed one paint application per stencil application and the paint went on so easy, actually getting paint into all of the narrow points of our stencil with less bleeding.

Didn't actually end up needing the level. Used it for first stencil, which ended up being a mistake. Should have lined the stencil up with my trim. After first stencil i just lined up next stencil with the previous painted stencil and didn't use the level. Foam brush worked well. It is possible to overload a foam roller, and you'll be tempted. So I ended up with some bleed through due to impatience. Stencil brush is low quality. Using a regular craft brush worked better in difficult areas for me. So basically I would have been fine buying a foam roller separately. But if u need a level and a foam roller its not a bad deal. Brush wasn't even attached to handle when I received it. Wouldn't buy kit for the brush.

Absolutely worth every penny. The level is a must for any stencil project. Just be sure you have the level level on the stencil itself .... I found out the hard way that an unlevel stencil does not make it level on the wall . Not products fault. Hard lesson for me.

This kit was a lifesaver. I couldn't not imagine trying to stencil without the clip on level. For my first stenciling project, it made everything so much easier and smoother. The brush creates wonderfully crisp lines, and an overall light roll of the stencil to begin with showed me exactly where I needed to paint. Wouldn't even try stenciling without this kit.

I think this is a must have if you are doing an entire wall of stenciling. The level was a great asset in making sure the pattern stayed straight over the entire wall. The roller worked well and even cleaned off fine so I can reuse it when I am ready for a different project.
