Installed it on my Asus X550Z, with it fully charged and with screen brightness at 50% and battery saver turned on, the brand new battery last about one hour before it is totally drained.<Update 08/15/2018>The seller sent me another battery even I did not ask for it. I was pleasantly surprised. Installed it on the same laptop (Asus X550Z) and again, fully charged it. Then I switched on the battery save mode and turned the screen brightness to 50%. After one hour and twenty minutes, the battery power warning message popped up. It is obvious the second battery performed as badly as the first one. Very disappointed.

The good: This battery came with the tools needed to install it. If they threw in a guitar pick to pry the casing apart, I wouldn't have needed anything of my own. The install was pretty simple. for my asus x750j.The bad (my fault): While this product is "Amazon's Choice" and compatible with my laptop, it is not a 1-for-1 swap with my original. After opening my laptop, I found I was removing a 2950 milliamp hour battery to replace it with this one (only 2600). I'm looking at a 10% decrease from "like new" performance (that's not to say it won't be better than the "like old" performance that motivated this purchase".As I have only just installed it, I can't meaningfully speak to its performance as a battery.05/01/19 Update: No news is good news. It's performing as hoped.

As others have noted you get only a little over an hour when new then after about a year it gets 15-30 min. And it drops so quickly the computer shuts down at a bout 40% capacity on the meter so no warning. They did replace my first one free because it lasted less than a year so I got two years of use for the price of one battery but still have to change battery every year and since you have to open up the case I would rather have a longer lasting battery.

The battery is good once I figured out how to put it in my ASUS computer. It is a little complicated and you will need very small screw drivers to removed the back of your computer to get it in. You also have to be careful not to remove important parts of the computer on the panel. My back did not come completely off. I used a tutorial from YouTube to ensure I was inserting it correctly.

Was a little apprehensive in putting this in, as I've never installed a battery inside. Using Youtube to follow along, it was a sinch. Had the computer up and running within a half hour!! Computer turned itself on when putting the screws back in!! Will definitely buy again from them!! Thank you!

My old battery used to last barely over half hour but this battery was easy to install and it lasts me over two hours. I am very happy because in school I don't always have a chance to be next to an outlet so it makes my life easier that my computer can last longer.

I loved it, until it died after a year. Some may think that's an acceptable amount of time, but I don't think it should be an annual replacement on a computer.

I ordered this battery to replace the one in my laptop. It worked great for several months and I have been very satisfied with its performance. I do need to purchase another one soon since it is starting to lose its charging ability. It is not meant to permanently replace your battery, so you will likely need to purchase another after a while. I received my order in a timely manner and was satisfied with the packaging. I do recommend purchasing this battery if you're looking for one!
