FEELS SO GOOD!! Smoothed out tips - a nice touch!
I've been looking for a set of reusable straws with a case and these ones were so beautiful! I had to try them out and what can I say.. I absolutely LOVE them!!TASTE: Got a little too excited and used these right out of the box. Slight metallic taste. Definitely recommend washing before using. No aftertaste at all after washing! Love the cleaning brushes. They're cotton and soft so they won't scratch the straws.WIDE BORE: Man oh man I love these for my smoothies. I have purchased other straws but they just aren't large enough for frozen drinks. I can even slurp up my banana nice cream with this thing! It actually makes things taste colder too. YUM!SMOOTHED TIP: Really really nice touch. Not clearly pictured, but the tips of the straw are rounded which makes it way more comfortable than my other stainless steel straws that feel sharp when you wrap your mouth around it.BAMBOO CASE: Beautiful craftsmanship! Honestly every time I whip these out at a restaurant.. people always ask me where I got them and I'm happy to tell them! Such a great conversation starter.VALUE: Honestly it comes with way more straws than I know what to do with. But it's great if you're kinda lazy with cleaning them. I plan to give a a couple away to some friends.If you're trying to go sustainable - this is such a fantastic product and such an easy switch! Highly recommend you try these out. No more plastic straws!
I have never posted a product review before, never felt it was worth it until now. I was with a friend for lunch and they busted out their South Pacifico Essentials straws and of course I asked about them, especially the wooden cases. He had both cases with him so he let me use one of the straws and I loved turning down the plastic straws the restaurant was going to give us. I ordered my own and I'm excited to use them daily. No more plastic for me. Feels great. Thank you!

no more plastic!
I've been looking for simple ways to reduce my plastic consumption. Started using stainless steel straws at home, but I always felt guilty about using plastic straws out at restaurants and Starbucks. These are easy to carry and are stylish enough to bring to any establishment. Its a great product and I can now say goodbye to plastic straws for good. Oh I also love that even the cleaners they supply contain no plastic--smart!

Typically don't write reviews but this product warranted one.This set is great... the wooden cases work exactly how they should.Toss them in the bag before I leave and that way I know that I wont have to use any plastic straws throughout the day. They are lightweight and sturdy.

Good buy for those looking to cut back on plastics use.
Cases are good quality - though they can only fit one straw at a time.Fit well into large to-go cups (like from a Whataburger, which are HUGE).While it feels weird constantly telling drive-thrus and restaurants "no straws, please," it is nice to know that this helps cut down plastic use a TON. You don't realize how many straws you go through in a week until you start telling people "no."Have not had them very long, so cannot yet speak to their durability, but so far the quality seems good.They're also just stylish enough to use for fancier drinks we make at home. Good buy.

I'm really glad to have gotten this set.Packaging: the calico (?) cloth draw-bag is really nice and easily washable. I love the wooden case holder for a straw and brush.Material: feels sturdy and I envision it lasting a while.Units: no rough edges to straws or brushes. Smooth, beautiful finishWould recommend

we love these cases!
We are always trying to reduce our use of plastic, and when we saw this straw/case set online we had to get it. It arrived fast and in perfect condition, and to our pleasant surprise, with zero plastic used in any of the packaging! So far its exactly what we wanted. The stainless steel straws leave no aftertaste and the cases allow us to bring the straws wherever we go. The box included some instructions about being careful not to get the cases too wet when cleaning, so we decided to only carry the straws unused in the cases and to put the used straws in the canvas pouch which comes in the package as well. This way the cases will stay in perfect condition and will always be clean and ready to go. We love these so much. No more plastic straws... EVER!

These work great!
We just got these and already I have noticed how many plastic straws we used to use. The quality of the cases and the straws are great, and with cold drinks the straw helps maintain the cold level even after the drink sits for a bit. Forgetting all that though, it just feels really good to know that we never have to use another single use plastic straw again!
