Love it! It really puts out a good mist. Wouldnt do without one in winter bc of dry heat. Keeps my dogs and myself from itching.

Really Pumps out the Moisture!
I got this today and tested it out. It really pumps out the moisture and is nearly silent. I've never had a humidifier so quiet. Hope it lasts.

Excellent humidifier
I have a Honeywell HCM-350 which is a good humidifier. It has great output for a medium size room. But you constantly have to replace the fabric filter. It has a fan on top that draws the water through the filter and generates it into the room. Eventually the filters stop working and needs replacement But the TaoTronics is an ultrasonic humidifier. It vibrates the water and it generates a visible mist. It's quiet and no filters to replace. It does have a washable filter that has pellets in it that filters the water. You can just soak the plastic screw in filter that holds the pellets in vinegar once in while to clean it. And it has electronic controls to control the mist, a timer, a humidistat to control the humidity and it has auto shut off when it runs out of water. And even a night light you can turn on or off. The Honeywell was all manual and had none of that. It's not quite as powerful as the Honeywell but is enough for a small bedroom. I have large bedroom so I got two of them. One I paid full new price and the other I bought slightly used for half the price. When it came it was like new. I only use filtered water in the units so I know I'm getting pure water mist with no dust residue. I do clean the base unit and filter about every two weeks with vinegar anyway. I really like these units, they are way cool and high tech.

weak humidification
the good: it's quiet, relatively easy to fill, and has all the functions a humidifier may need.the bad: even though it's rated for rooms of up to 322 square feet, it struggled to humidify my ~300 square foot living room; this humidifier only manages to humidify the area directly around it. a couple of hygrometers told me that the humidity was as displayed up to 3 feet away but once you got out of that range, the humidity dropped right down to what it usually is in my house. even though i bought this for my plant room, i ended up having to mist them multiple times a day to keep the humidity up.i thought it might just be my house -- i live in a relatively dry area. but i recently purchased a Levoit LV600HH and it has managed to completely humidify the entire room. i suspect it has to do with its higher output and the ability to split the mist into different directions.this humidifier will work well for me in my bedroom granted i have it right near my bed.

Good humidifier for the cost
This is the second model of this humidifier I have purchased. I have one in my kids room and for our guest room.

Works well
Works well. I’ve used it to humidify my apartment and on another occasion, my grow tent. I have to refill it once every couple of days, but that’s because I use a high humidity level. A little bit of mold/mildew can end up growing in the bass part in which the tank sits as the base hold some standing water. But it’s pretty easy to wipe down with Lysol or something like that

Whisper quiet
It’s so quiet you don’t even know it’s on at night when the TV is off can’t hear it at all! A top fill would be nice!

Love it
I bought this refurbished and honestly I cannot tell that it was ever used. It looked absolutely brand-new. We have another one that we bought new, and this one works just as well as the other one. Instead of heating up the room, the cool mist it's nice and humid and doesn't heat up the room. when using it at full strength, it does wet the carpet. We use it at about 50 or 60%, and it is perfect for our rooms. This new one tends to go through more water than our older one.
