Q: Received Christmas 2022, won’t run, battery fully charged. What can I try?

Tbh, this model is a Lemon!. I'm on my 3rd within a couple of years. They won't return it without charging a re-stocking fee neither.

Q: How do you charge it?

DO NOT BUY A DYSON! They will nickel and dime you once you’re a customer. My near-new, only owned by me, cordless V8 vacuum only works for 90 seconds off a full charge. I have taken the utmost best care of this machine. When I contacted Dyson to see about a repair they tried to charge me the full price for a new battery which is approximately $130. After I balked at this they then offered me a 20% discount since I am “a loyal long time customer“. I then stated I should not have to pay money to replace a faulty part, but would be willing to pay for s&h. At that point I was then offered a 50% discount off of a replacement battery. Needless to say, I am NOT paying more money for another battery that will likely go bad after a year like the last. Instead I bought a new (non-Dyson) vacuum under a 3 year warranty. They are basically used car salesmen, nickel and diming you after you’ve paid that ridiculous price already.
