Well this product is cost prohibitive, and possibly unethical in the same way that foie gras and veal is. However, it’s shockingly good! It smells like coffee, and looks like coffee, but it’s not at all bitter and has a fruity and woody flavor that I have never had with any other coffee. It was worth the try at least once in a lifetime, and because of the first sentence in my review this is probably the only time I’ll buy it.

I'm not sure whether this is authentic or not, but there was absolutely nothing amazing about this insanely overpriced coffee. I was excited to get it as a gift for my brother who is a coffee snob, but he was also unimpressed. It tasted smooth, but nothing that distinguishable. You're much better off buying regular coffee that doesn't cost $25/cup.

I first heard about this coffee through a movie that Jack Nicholson was in which was the bucket list so I figured I try it out for myself. I actually sent it also to a friend it came in record time in delivery and was really great tasting

Bottom line it's too expensive. $25.00 for sharing a half cup with a friend is ........ (u fill in the blank i.e. "crazy etc.") Only Jack can afford this joe. Larry

As a coffee lover, I was curious about this, while at the same time I felt a little bit grossed out knowing how this coffee is fermented. But, curiosity got the best of me and I decided to give it a shot. Did it taste good? Yes, it wasn't a bad coffee. But it wasn't amazing and is not worth the price asked for it. As someone who lives in Puerto Rico, which produces some of the finest coffee in the world, I've tasted fresh grounded coffee which tastes far better and is processed through traditional means.

It comes from where? I bought these as stocking stuffers as an alternative to candy. All of the recipients were a little surprised on this unique product. I haven't received an update on the taste yet, but I am looking forward to it.
