I bought this product as I sometimes need to trail a mains cable across the footpath in order to power my motorhome, kerbside. This can take several hours and this product gives me the reassurance that I've taken reasonable steps to safeguard the public and I'm going to be sued by a passer by.

Got an EV but we don't have driveway so needed to keep the cable tidy across the pavement to avoid pedestrian tripping over.Initially we wanted to have those heavy duty plastic ones however they are quite expensive. After reading reviews, this one seemed to just do the job. And it does not disappoint at all.This is quite heavy duty as well, maybe not good for a car to run over, but for pedestrians, buggies, or scooters, this is strong enough to hold the shape and protect the cable. After all, the cable is strong enough to be stepped on, along as the cover can prevent sharp objects peering through, it is total fine.The cover is pretty heavy in weight, and it lays flat to, so there is no risk of someone tripping over. The yellow straps on the sides add additional warning to pedestrians so some people just step over it. Some did step on it though still, maybe they just want to feel it? Not a problem.Very happy with the purchase and of we ever need to extend it will buy another one.

Used this to cover network cables while working from home. It’s very easy to set up, and the rubber is pre-scored so cutting it is easy with a decent pair of scissors. I bought a couple of these and they’ve held up really well in busy parts of the house.

Use in garage, handy protection when in and out with car

Purchased for outdoor use, crossing a garden footpath. This cable protector has a nice heavy feel and sits well on the ground. It comes rolled up and the very ends took a day or so to uncurl. The length is a full 2m, not 1.8m like some other similar products. Good value for money.

It would be better if the product can be a little bit more flexible to bend.

Great product does the job a little on expensive side tho

This cable protector is good, but it has one really irritating drawback. It's delivered rolled up tightly in a cardboard box. Very convenient for delivery, but it's coiled that tightly in the box that it's almost impossible to get it to lie flat! It's made of very sturdy PVC-type stuff and the part that was in the centre of the coil wants to stay in a coil. I've had to soak it in near-boiling water for about a quarter of an hour and then bend it the opposite way until I could get it approximately flat! Once down, I'm really pleased with it, it protects the cables well and the yellow stripes are very visible. Recommende, but effort is required to flatten it.
