It's not the brightest, but it's bright enough for close to medium distance work. Light weight, small size, very bright (for me), easy to operate, and just the right combination of everything above for most uses. Great price for the value you get. I am very pleased, and will order more again, as needed.

I have an older model I loved it. So I bought this new version, it's a little smaller but still uses the same 18650 battery and is also bright, haven't put them to the test yet, but seem sturdy.

I've used SK98's for many years, easily some of the best little flashlights you can get. Great value. These ones have a broader focus that previous models. Not bad, just not as tight a beam, makes it a little harder to light up at about the 100yd mark. Worth buying.

The SK98 is a good decent light, can be used for EDC, has decent brightness, and alot of flood, all for a good price, and well you have 5 here (batteries and charger not included)If you need a few capable lights placed around your house, and have a few 18650s lying around this is good to look into

I bought a light like this years ago on Ebay. It was the best until I dropped it 15ft and it hit concrete. (my fault it broke). Well I tried for ears to find a light just like it. I have bought many on Ebay and none of them were as good.. I came across this on Amazon and took a shot. I was a lttle off-put by it being a 5 pack. I don't want to pay 30 bucks for 5 duds.. Well as soon as I opened the case, I knew it was a homerun. These are perfect and they work with EVERY 18650 battery I have. (some of my ebay lights did not)..

The good: the led components appear to be solid, they are light weight, work okay and we're inexpensive.The bad: they are cheaply made ( you get what you pay for), they open from the end with the light which also has the spring which presses against the battery top (+ end with the button), and they are difficult to open to insert the battery. they are constructed so that the positive end of the battery must press against the battery rather than the flat (negative) end of the battery. So when you try to screw the end back onto the unit, the spring twists against the end of the battery and it will break the solder joint. At that point the flashlight well no longer work and you can now throw it away. Two of the five broke and I expect the others will as well when I need to recharge of change the battery. Poor design in my opinion. I have other lights from this manufacturer and they are much better.

I have purchased "ULTRAFIRE(s)" before, but WOW! THESE ULTRAFIRE's ARE "BRIGHT"! AND they are 'slightly' smaller, but use the SAME batteries as my originals, (TR) 18650.Trust me, these are "The Kind" and you won't be disappointed! AMAZON "A+"
