Mom's Place Gluten Free Beef Stroganoff Mix

My wife and I were craving some hamburger helper (I have Celiacs) and when we came across this GF beef stroganoff, we didn't know what to expect. I decided to order it (and the Chilli Mac) and was willing to give it a try. After preparing this (minus sour cream but did blend some Swiss cheese), it was delicious. My wife got seconds! We can hope the Chilli Mac is as tasty.

This was really flavorful and easy to prepare. My whole family enjoyed.

New at having to cook gluten free and this is yummy.

My husband loves beef stroganoff but, with his food allergies, we haven't been able to make one that we both liked. When I found this mix online, I figured I would give it a try. It was soooo good!! AND, bonus, my husband was actually able to make it without too much guidance from me!! I legit can't even taste that it's gluten free! Also, I didn't feel like it was super salty - which is what I usually deal with when it comes to mixes like this. I'm giving it 5 stars!! (Side Note: I also had this same brand of biscuits and I HIGHLY recommend those as well!)

If you don't eat gluten free you can use regular pasta/noodles. Mix is easy and tastes great.

It is really good but remember to get some mushrooms, as it does not include them in the fry mix. Really tasty! Good for any family with one or 2 members with celiac. Can barely tell a difference!

The overall flavor of this mix was good. The consistency came out really nice. However, it was extremely onion-y. You could feel the onions, not just taste them. That texture of feeling little bits of dried onions was such a huge turn off for my family that we couldn't eat it. It felt like more of an onion soup mix in some ways than a stroganoff mix. However, if you love onions and do not mind the texture of dried onions in a dish - then by all means please purchase this!
