Back in 1995, a couple of skateboard shop owners and a pro skater named Tim Gavin had a vision to create a footwear brand designed specifically for skateboarding. DVS, as they originally named it, has become a globally recognized force in the footwear market, yet the founding partners haven't wavered from the mantra the brand was built on--to create quality footwear made for skaters by skaters.
