Origin8 MX Mini Urban MTB Handlebar, 25.4 x 600 x 75mm

I bought these for my 29er fixie mtb. I love how narrow they are and the rise. I wanted a higher rise than the bars that came on my bike. These were the answer, I am not slouching over as much now while riding. Also I am in a more upright position like I was standing up on my old BMX.

These bars have enough rise to add some comfort, a long enough handle area for a shifter (indexed Shimano thumb shifter), brake, and grip. The bar across the top is where the accessories go - in my case, lights (multiple) for night riding and a phone mount. A touring cyclist friend has lights, phone, HALT, and a couple of other things mounted on it....It's a good design and aesthetically workable at a reasonable price.

The bars that came with the bike were too low and wide. This raised them a bit. I think the width is just about perfect. The bars seem strong enough to deal with my 90kg frame. Bars look good on my bike IMO. No complaints.To Origin8. I think I'd still like just a little more rise. If you made a 100mm riser option of this bar I'd probably buy it if the option was there.

Handles are to short if you have brakes and a shifter. Brakes & grips JUST fit. Seem intended for foot brake bikes.

Fairly lightweight overall and allows mounting for lights, phones on center bridge area. This model is fairly short so you may need small grips especially for Grip shift shifters.

Seem like nice bars. Mounted lights and accessories on the cross bar on my city bike so they don't crowd the contols.

I knew this handlebar was narrow, but I didn't realize just how small the handle area was. It's a well built, good looking part, but I ended having to replace my shifter and break lever with a combined unit in order to fit them along side my grips. If the handle area was about 1.5 cm longer (which it could easily be), this wouldn't have been necessary.

Works and looks great. Light aluminum with nice, clean welds. Gave my SE the upright riding position, and BMX flavor I was looking for. Origin8 makes some neat stuff.
