I began using a safety razor last year to cut down on the amount of plastic I was getting through using regular disposables. I was beyond disappointed to find upon their arrival that these blades couldn’t be packaged in more unnecessary plastic if they tried. Not only a plastic case for each set but then the cases themselves also wrapped in a layer of polythene. So ridiculous - I may as well have bought a years supply of single use razors from Gillette.
