Good size for a female hanky. Cute print, but it's definitely a print. There is no embroidery, not even along the edge. The "stitching" along the edge that the description mentions is just the finished edge of the hanky - which I would think would be standard. Pretty sturdy feeling, washes well (I do not take the time to iron them so they're a bit wrinkly out of the wash), and no shrinking so far. I'm hoping they soften up after a few months of use and washing. Good product for the money and does the job!

They are great for wiping your eyes, nose, mouth, shirt, stranger's shirt. Whatever needs cleaning up daintily.They are really cute too. I've washed them and dried them, and although they are a bit wrinkly, they have retained their color in shape. I would buy again, especially since there are so many different Selini patterns.Other than that, one think I wasn't expecting (maybe due to my own fault) was for the flower pattern to continue all the way around the handkerchief.There is also a circle made up of small printed grey dots in the center. I loved them regardless, I actually liked them more this way. It just wasn't that easy to figure out what the whole thing looked like from the pictures.

They are decent quality and I got them for my snozola because I go through kleenex like water since sinus surgery and don't like all the particles floating up in my sinuses you get from kleenex which I think adds insult to injurty. The only thing I don't like so much is the size as they are a bit small for using more than a few times. Overall if you are like me and hate that fluff going everywhere when you use kleenex, go back to the tried and true old fashion hankies!

I ordered this set of handkerchiefs as a gift for my mom. The hankies are thin cotton with attractive floral embroidery. I had to take them out of the original packaging and let them air out for a few days, as they had a very unpleasant odor about them. Since they were a gift for someone else, I can't report as to how well they hold up after laundering. The price was good, though, and the embroidery is cute. I'd consider them a bargain - especially with free shipping.

These handkerchiefs are as described and they were not expensive, they arrived quickly and nicely packaged, just like the picture. I was hoping they would be softer. Even after several washes they are still pretty rough. I had a handkerchief I bought in Japan about 18 years ago that I still used until recently when I lost it. It was so light and soft and easy on the skin. I was hoping these would replace that one. So they are a disappointment in the softness department, but that is the only complaint. If anyone knows of some nice soft handkerchiefs I would love to know about it. Thanks!

I like these and use them often, but they wrinkle up very easily along the edges. If you want them to look good (and want to be able to use the whole thing instead of the smaller surface area that isn't all wrinkled up along the edge), you would have to iron them.An alternative might be to get out your sewing machine and sew some lace or a design along the edge to stiffen it up? I'm considering doing that.

The folks at this company saved my behind BIG time! Needed gift sent overnight but put order in too late. One call to shipper and he caught truck, packaged my item and got it out RIGHT THEN! If not for the caring of the guy on the phone and his going the VERY extra measure, it wouldn't have arrived On time for Christmas. That's right! Like they weren't busy enough at that time! I recieved perfect product Christmas eve due ONLY their great service and caring. How many sellers will do THAT?!? I thank them all so very much and need I say YES I will use again and recommend highly.

I love using these handkerchiefs when I am sick. I just wash one and use another while the first one is drying and vice versa. I still haven't used the other 4 that come in the pack. Some people don't like that I use handkerchiefs because they say it is unsanitary and better to use tissue that you can throw away, but you do save money washing and drying these.
