The pen is a 'fun' pen, mimicking super expensive Limite Edition pens from major brands. It writes, it isn't a flexible nib, it is made of steel. You might want to experiment by replacing the nib with a better one? You can as if it goes wrong you haven't spent a fortune. Importantly it writes as is. Nice buy

I had previously bought the black fountain pen version of this pen as the elephant design appeals to me. This pen is a heavy pen with the cap attached. The cap attaches very securely to the pen. The trunk is the clip and is functional. With the cap fitted it measures 13cm in length. Without the cap it is 11.5cm. Unposted it is comfortable in the hand. I prefer to write with this pen unposted as the cap is quite heavy and would back weight the pen. The section is about 10mm and is easy to hold. The writing experience is really nice and this pen writes very smoothly. The finish of the pen is of high quality and the elephant design is etched into the body. It appears to be durable and should last (unlike some pens which have the design printed on). This is a fun pen which is well made and writes smoothly. Then pen was delivered quickly and well packaged.

It is a beautiful antique pen to own, easy to hold doesn't slip away from fingers while writing. The elephant design is detailed on the cap, the design if a baby elephant and mother elephant on the body is lovable too. However the refill had to be changed as it was dry from the beginning. Otherwise no issue, will recommend to buy as a gift ! Got it as a gift myself and came to know price much later, definitely value for money!

The media could not be loaded. Lovely pen by looks and too hold. Deep engraving so it’s not likely to rub off. 3D Elephant head to the cover of the pen. Really well made. Although the pen is all metal it is not as heavy as I imagined.The elephant head is the first thing to catch the eye. It's tasteful and a nice size. The trunk of the elephant is the pocket clip. The cap comes off easily with the hand but gives firm click when replacing. It cannot accidentally fall off.The cap does not post on the pen but that is fine since the weight of the pen is just right without it.The pen minus cap is elegant with shiny metal and a discrete elephant etching.Writing with this pen is enjoyable. The refill is a large one and, although I've used them before, this one is nicer. It is Fine, 0.5mm, which is much smoother that my previous experiences with Extra Fine, 0.38, which seems scratchy and gives spiderweb lines. I'll replace with 0.5mm in future.If I was a hermit then I would not have bought this pen, but I have children and a wife who likes nice things. I bought it as a conversation piece and was pleasantly surprised with how nice it is and how effortlessly it writes. It now lives on the kitchen table as a handy pen for daily use.

This pen is absolutely fantastic, the truck is the clip, and the pen is engraved with mother and bady elephant, it writes beautifully. I'm glad I went with the brass one it matches the book ,well worth that little bit extra
