The green laser works pretty well in the daylight and extremely bright in the dark. I am satisfied with the laser itself.I purchased the laser for a shotgun. After a few shots, I noticed the laser much further forward than where I had mounted it. The plastic clips to hold the laser in place shaved off, so now it slides around a small amount with each shot, held only by friction at this point. Not a good design.

This LASER Is BIG !!!
Just fits on my Beretta (M9A1)... Tried it outside as soon as I mounted it, and it's truely visible in daylight. Kind of hard to push it up the rail, and get it to lock in, and equally hard to remove it.Battery is easy to install, even if the LASER is mounted. Easy to align, using an allen wrench. The package said there's one included, should have been attached to the top of the LASER, but I couldn't find it. Luckily, I have a standard allen bit that fits in one of my magnetic drivers that takes multiple bits...This LASER, and it's switch, seems like it'll be no problem using a holster, and the LASER won't turn on my accident.My Beretta is heavy, so this doesn't add any appreciable weight. Made of ABS plastic, and switchable from either side.The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is lack of shakedown and performance test. I'll update the post after I've had a chance to get it dialed in.

Totally worthless in the daylight
Totally worthless unless you are shooting at dusk. Can't see the beam 20 feet from the laser in daylight. Very difficult to mount and remove.

Three is surely the charm
This is my third. The first two have been hanging on a pair of Glocks for years now. Bought this new one to hang under my latest .223 Wylde build intended to be the "home defense" AR with a 1-4x20 Bushnell FFP. Unfortunately, the laser rattles around on the carbines free floating forearm. This GB8300S now hangs on the dust cover of my only SA/DA Sig replacing a defunct red laser of questionable reliability.

Just a great laser
Got to try out and laser works awesome I love that I can remove it and put back on and it shoots the same spot every time awesome laser and the green is a great choice
