Unlike some cheaper types, Pacific Dualies extenders don’t leak. Worth the extra money. Cheap ones aren’t saving money if they leak, which I’ve found they usually do.

I use these 45* valve stem extensions on the front wheels of my RV because I needed to extend the valve stem out and away from the wheel covers in order to enable attachment of a TPMS system on my coach. These attach easily but require two pair of pliers--one to hold the stem where you want it and a second to tighten the screw collar that goes over your current (metal) valve stems. There is a ball joint where this attaches to your current stems, which can be helpful to position these where you want them. In my case, I wish there were NO joint though because I fear that these will shift under the centrifugal force of the wheel in motion. I also wish these were a wee bit shorter for my application. I would have given them 5 stars if the screw collars did not require a set of pliers to tighten. Time will tell if they loosen up and allow air to leak, but so far, so good.

This is the second set of these I have bought. I went through a couple of different brands before finally finding these.These are the best extenders I have bought. These seal and don't leak. It is easy to add air when needed. This new purchase is for my front wheels. They can be installed with your fingers and seal every time for me. Great product. Checking your tire pressure on any vehicle is necessary, but with a truck/motorhome, it is often overlooked until it is too late. With the beauty rim covers I have, an extension is needed in order to check the air pressure without having to take off the covers. These make checking the air as easy as possible. They are chrome and come with nice chrome caps to keep the dirt out. Perfect purchase.

These seem to work OK for extending the TPMS sensors out beyond the wheel covers without leaking (so far) but I wish they had a nut instead of the knurled finger knobs to tighten onto the valve stem, very hard to get tight enough to not turn with the added weight of the TPMS, had to use pliers to get them tight, a wrench would have been much better.

As per any project, the first extention was difficult to get into place and tighten enough to get a good seal. Then I found it difficult to add air to the tire. Once I got the seal and the valve adjusted right, it worked fine. Found the perfect solution on the second tire; took the chrome hub cap off....went on easily and able to adjust quickly; worked like a champ!

It is my understanding that valve stem extensions should not be used on rubber valve stems, which I have on my RV (much to my chagrin). I use these ONLY when I need to add air to the tires and remove them afterward.Overall - good value and a good "fix" for my situation.
