Only 1/8 inch think!
I ordered this to put on the bottom of the swivel for my wife and my new recliners to keep them from slipping on the carpet. It looks as if it will work ok. On past recliners I had been able to get "real carpet" stick-on squares from Home Depot. When this box arrived I was surprised. It was 1 foot square and one 1.25" thick for all 10 pieces of carpet. They are only 1/8" thick including the paper backing. I don't see how anyone would use them as carpet, but they appear to be ok for my application --- IF they stay stuck to the bottome of the chair.

Decent for hte price
I don't know why, but I was expecting something a little thicker and less "cheap office carpet" in texture. I love the color, and it's what I was expecting (the blue is much darker than the photo shows, so beware if you pick that).Word of caution: Once you peel and stick, DO NOT try to pull it up and move it. The tiles stretch and warp quite badly.Overall, this worked for what I bought it for (making a living room rug) but I would never carpet my house in it.

Calling these carpet tiles is like calling a belly button lint a ball of yarn
These "carpet tiles" are the cheapest of cheap materials. I used quotes because these are literally fuzz glued to paper. Calling these carpet tiles is like calling a belly button lint a ball of yarn. The box they arrived in is worth more than the product.
