Better to stick with what works
This solution should be clearly shown as a necessary purchase for use with the test strips from the same company. Not so on the web page I ordered from. My readings are at least 40 units higher than when using the genuine article. Better to stick with what works.

Really Needed ?
Works just like advertised. Got it, prepped and tested and got a 65 which is in the low range of 35-80 per the test strip package.I have never tested this particular meter and probably didn't need to but I am new to this and wanted to test. Now that I know a little more and have tested two meters the range in which they test good is so wide that if your meter wasn't reading correctly it would be readily apparent after not much use. If your meter works fine and you order the Unistrips for it there really isn't a need to test the meter. Save yourself $7.

I have evaluated this before. It is misrepresented online. I contacted the seller, but it did no good. I ended up paying more than it said.
