Lemme explain...
First, I'm not rich. AT ALL. I HATE spending this much on a stupid doll and there's no way in heck I would spend it on any other doll. American girl is quality though, and you can always resell them later. They do not lose their value. Not that my daughter will ever do that, this is something my granddaughter will own some day. The difference is the material she's made of, her hair feels like no other doll hair ever, the clothing is carefully crafted. It's made to last forever, and actually worth it. You can not say that about a My Generation doll. My 7 year old received Julie last year, who she still plays with. This year she got Teeny. Worth Every Cent, even if you're financially challenged like me.

Doll is beautiful! Granddaughter loved it! No flaws that we've found. Came well packaged. Advertisement said book was Spanish but it was actually in English.

Ragged box, cute doll
My granddaughter loves the doll! I couldn't wait to gift the doll so I just gave it to her! I think it's a bit pricey and I wouldn't pay so much for a doll again. She came in fantastic shape, no marks on the body her clothes were perfect. The box was a bit ragged which didn't affect the doll for the price I would of expected a brand new looking box.

Beautiful Hair & Adorable Freckle Placement!
Tenney is such a pretty doll. Her hair is a beautiful shade of blonde, and very long. You can do a side braid on her that hangs over her shoulder, give her a ponytail or just let it fall softly down her back.She is good for hours of hair play.Her meet outfit is really cute I especially love the vest and her shoes. Her freckles are a new pattern and so adorable. She's definitely a treasure. The quality we expect with AG is still used on her. Great quality.

Perfect Gift
My nephew in Ireland requested this as a gift for his First Holy Communion. Normally I would not spend such an amount on a doll but since the party around the event was cancelled and I could not go to Ireland I decided to buy it. The joy on my nephew's face was well worth it. Tom love it and the book that was included.

Over-priced
My granddaughter just had to have an Anerican girl doll for Christmas so I bought her this one. She loves the doll and the quality is nice but in my opinion extremely over-priced as are all the accessories. She was just as happy with the other accessories at a fraction of the price.
