I've tried A LOT of different charging cords and this has been the BEST ONE EVER...!!! I intentionally waited 6 months to review this cord (if it even survived that long) in order to give a thorough assessment and honestly, I'm blown away!!! Simply the fact that I'm still able to use it after 6 months is amazing; I'm completely impressed by the longevity, durability, high quality, consistency, and the list goes on. I'm not the easiest on my charging cords and I'm still on the very first cord (out of the 3pk) after 6 months!!! That's near miracle length of lifespan for my cords. LolLike most folks, I use my phone while it's charging, I also have it plugged in while mirroring whatever I'm streaming, and it doesn't over heat or get glitchy. The main problem I typically have with cords starts within the first month, where the plug connection to the phone starts to wiggle and then after another couple weeks it does that insanely frustrating charging/not charging all on its own because it doesn't have a solid connection. For me, that problem is completely solved by the genius of the cord phone connector being at a 90 degree angle. After 6 months of constant use it hasn't flickered once!!! One unexpected benefit of the 90 degree connection is I don't have to examine the charger end making sure I'm putting it in the phone correctly. It's always bent in the same direction, so as long as you have it facing that way, it's a no brainier, which sooo helpful in the dark.The only thing some might take issue with is due to the longevity of the cord, the fabric starts to "pill up" a bit, get little balls of snagged strings. It hasn't frayed at all, so it's purely an aesthetic issue. Considering the looong list of high quality characteristics that have exceeded my standards and my expectations, a cord that isn't pristine is so trivial.I will NEVER buy another type of cord... I'm sold. In fact, my extended family is now sold on them too (including their grade school kids using them for their kindles continuously for 4 months plus). I bought these because the charging cable that came with my headset was both too short and the micro usb end was straight. This one is nice because its long, like really long, perhaps even too long. But its just right for me. The micro usb is angled so its not awkward to wear the headset while its charging, the cables is nice and long, its braided so its strong and the doesnt fray, it clicks in nice and tight to the charging port, and best of all, In 3 years, the first one still hasn't even begun to break. Its durable, like I could use it to lasso a cow and it would still probably work. This things lasted so long the charging port on my headphones broke before them (I fixed it though). So if you need a micro usb charging cable that is both absurdly long and ridiculously durable, this is what you want. (what am I going to do with the other 2? pass them down to my grandkids? wait... i gotta have children first)

It works well and nice quality and it seems durable and it's long and cheap. Nothing more I'd ask for tbh and it does carry data

Thanks the stars for these little babies.I can't tell you how many charging cords I have ruined trying to awkwardly charge my tablet or Kobo while snuggling on the couch or setting in for a good read. These are perfect! The sideways port makes it so much easier. In case you can't tell from the fact I have a tablet as a reading device and a Kobo, I am a serious reader. There is nothing worse than getting into a good book or game and seeing the low battery alert. The long cord is great when you need to charge but there is no outlet close. I got three as a package deal. 1 for the office. 1 for my purse and 1 for my mom. Love, love, Love these!

Very nice set of cables!Can't vouch for the durability yet, as I've only had them for a week, but since the cable comes out the side I imagine that it won't stress the cable like one that just come straight out of the bottom of the connector.One thing I don't like is that the cable comes out the left side, rather than the right. All of my power supplies are to my right, meaning that the cable bends sharply (180°) to the right, possibly eventually causing the wires to break from the stress.Also, my thumb often sits on the cable connector, putting stress on the plug/connector.I hope to come back after a long time to discuss durability.==================Update: 5 Months Later and the cables are still in good condition!

I have had nothing but problems with charger cables with both my Fire 7 and Fire 10. I've had to jiggle and tape the chargers in a specific position to keep them connecting....very frustrating. I popped this new one in and could immediately feel the tight fit. No wobbling around or needing to be positioned. It showed up as charging immediately and no matter how I tried to wriggle the plug, it would not lose contact. In fact, the design that hugs closely to the kindle won't allow you any wriggle room. The only issue I have is that it angles over the on/off button so you have to work a bit to get under the cord to hit that button. It would be nice if it angled to the left instead of the right while it is charging. That is a negligible complaint though. I'm just happy to have my kindles charging again without all of the hassles. I'm thinking of getting another set in the red color too. Actually, that is another plus. The colored cables make it much easier to find the proper cord when you are trying to sort out laptop cables and phone chargers, etc. No more wondering if I've grabbed the right charging cord, especially when in bed at night and need to plug the charger in. I highly recommend this item. I haven't had it long, but it is charging my kindle quickly and I can tell that this is sturdily made and won't wear out easily.
