Wireless Garage Door Opener Remote WiFi Switch Universal Controlled by Smartphone for Automatic Gate Opener System (with Door Sensor)

This is a project that was fun to install and sort out. Anyone looking for a sexy garage door opener solution should check this unit out. It has 3 zones so it can close 3 circuits momentarily. I say this because this little gem can be used for anything that just need a closed circuit for a split second to take an action. It just so happens that this is how garage doors open and close.Here are a few gotchas:1. This only comes with 1 open/close sensor even though it has 3 zones and thus would need 3 sensors.2. Thus is not a US form factor. This means that it will not drop into a standard wall box and will require some creativity but can look really nice once this bridge is crossed.3. This unit does not have the ability to control door opener lights....or at lease not from the unit itself. I have not tested with app yet....but doubt it will work. I installed this by jumping off the existing door openers for 2 zones and thus can still control lights from the existing wall switches.4. You can make a cable from any 3 prong cord and plug it into a power outlet for an easy install.

This is actually a very cool device. It gives you control over your garage door from anywhere via your smart phone.My garage door opener is one that does not have a WiFi interface from the manufacturer, so this is perfect.The instructions seem overly complex because you’re really only attaching power (12 volt in my case), the two wires in parallel with the existing wall button, and two wires from the sensor. The picture shows these three pairs of wires coming into the mounting box.I also purchased the mounting box and some mini-wire staples, as well as a roll of bell wire.This is an affordable solution for anyone who wants to open/close their garage door remotely, or be confident that it is closed after leaving home.

Easy to set up on most door openers. Not on liftmaster

The product works good. I am not happy with the instructions that was given. For my set up it said I only needed to use two wires. That was not true. Also the front plate of the product feel off and I had to glue it back. After doing some digging on comments and the web I was able to get it work. They also could of supply you with the wire to wire up the open close sensor.

Installation was easy, except that the unit fits European style box which must be purchased separately. Setup is easy, just download the app and follow the instructions.I already have one at a different location and added the new location to the same app with no problem.The device can only monitor one door sensor, so if you have multiple doors you could could install a sensor on each door and connect them in series or parallel depending on whether you use N.O. or N.C. sensors. The app would tell you if all doors are closed or if one is open, but would not tell you which one. This is OK since you more than likely only want to check that you closed all doors. If you want to monitor each door separately you will need a separate device for each door.

I had this professionally installed or would have returned it. It never would connect to Alexa. I followed sellers instructions, enabled the skills on Alexa and never had any luck. It does work with the garage door but I really wanted it to work with Alexa.

Pretty simple to hook up but keep in mind it's a momentary button. once you release the button the circuit opens back up. No other features or options
