Superb All In One! HP LaserJet Pro 200 MFP Colour nw
Superb All In One!The nw (this product) is the "NetWork" type that allows you to print across your wireless network.HP do a slightly cheaper identical looking one of these but without the 'nw' in the product title and doesn't have the networking facility like this one, so do check before you buy to ensure you get the model that meets your needs.Really easy to set up and get going from the outset.Using this wirelessly on my home network with my MacBook Pro, iP6+, iPad Air and an older iP4s - all printing remotely across my network. At last, no more having the printer plugged into multiple hardware devices and having a dedicated computer bench with all the attached cabled malarkey.A comprehensive set of menus to tweak the printer settings if you decide to install the device drivers but works using AirPrint with my mobile devices straight out the box and plugged only into a power socket.Toners on all laser printers are that but more than inkjet but running costs are your responsibility. If you think things look too costly stick to pen and paper and tracing / carbon copying paper if you need to make multiple copies. Otherwise join the tech revolution and get this.Ideal for home office / small business.

I am impressed, thanks HP
So I bought this all-in-one printer because it works with Ubuntu, OSX and Windows and is accessible via Wifi and wired network. It took me less then 30 min to install it on my OSX 10.10 and my Ubuntu 12.04. All works without any glitches, I am so happy since this is the first printer ever I got where everything just works in Ubuntu. I am lovin' it. For both the OSX and the Ubuntu installation I needed to download the drivers but who doesn't do that nowadays anyway since you will get the newest version. Lets see how things go from here but very impressed so far.So people mentioned the size of the printer as being big and yes, it is not small. First of all the dimensions or in the specs description so people that read have clear advantages ;) 2nd and I am not kidding, it takes less space on my desk then the InkJet from Epson (Stylus Photo PX730WD All in One) I had before since the paper output is not taking any additional space.I bought it through a reseller on Amazon and also best marks for them. Ordered on Friday, delivered on Monday into the flat. Perfectly wrapped without any issues.

It's pretty big but pretty clever
First things first, this printer is large. Much larger than I expected and it's perhaps a little too large for its intended place (on a set of office drawers) so you should consider where it's going to go before buying. That said, it's a great multifunction printer and does an awful lot for the price. Note, there is currently £70 cashback on this particular printer until end October 2014 direct from the manufacturer so it's a better deal than it looks...search and ye shall find. The checklist for me was:Networked - wired or wireless. They do a non-wireless version of this printer for £10 less but with cashback making them effectively the same price, this was a no-brainer.Automatic Document Feeder - duplex not required but would have been a bonus, this one doesn't have a duplex ADF.Flatbed Scanner - check. I struggled to find details on this and the product images aren't particularly helpful.Network scanning - send to network drive, send to email.Colour laser printing - obviously.Google Cloud Print - works via HP ePrint but it's cloud ready and means I can print from a smartphone too.The biggest drawback is the cost of the toner. A full set will set you back more than the cost of a new printer so its cost per page is quite high in reality. If you're printing a lot, consider your print volume compared to cartridge yield and cost. I print infrequently so an inkjet isn't ideal due to ink wastage through drying out and I don't need amazing quality edge-to-edge printing either. I needed consistently good, networked colour printing with a flatbed scanner and auto document feeder and this fit the bill nicely.

Simply amazing printer
I'm just so glad I went back to HP! My first ever laser (in the 90s) was an HP, an unprecedented machine in terms of value and output, a workhorse. I bought this printer as I wanted a colour laser for home, printing pictures and scanning documents to replace my other-branded all-in-one which was ok but not great. This machine is fantastic, I plugged it into my router with a network cable and I was able to print from my iPhone in seconds. I can access the settings from my web browser, a nice control panel properly designed as a business app.Initial calibration took a couple of minutes, it was a bit noisy (but the kids next door didn't wake up). The test print was absolutely stunning! I installed the software and tried scanning from Photoshop, results fantastic! I scanned straight to a usb drive, again, impressive. It's big and bulky and it's over 20 kilos. But the build quality is very good, the touch screen responsive, the menus complete and the printing, well, pure quality. All in all, this printer has been so far been a nice surprise, excellent choice for a (serious) home.

issues with wireless printing
The installation was a pain, it worked fine on my laptop, using a disc, but not on my netbook; via network; everything works fine after the installation, but once I restart, printer doesn't exist any more.As for laptop, once you get the printer to work, it prints good quality printouts. However, I use wireless, and each time I try to print, I get several error messages before printer actually starts printing, really annoying that each time I have to waste an hour printing a simple document. That was really not the idea. The only thing that works well on it is scanning/copying.Apart from this, it is too heavy, really not convenient for a small office.
