Birwall 48.4 Square Feet Faux Grasscloth Texture Peel and Stick Wallpaper Décor Self-Adhesive Prepasted Wallpaper (5058)

Perfect pattern, exactly what I wanted, but turned out to be a huge letdown. I ordered two rolls for a wall in my photo studio. The second roll I broke into seemed to be more adhesive than the first, but neither gave me any more grip than scotch tape, honestly. It’s also very thin and rips too easily during installation, in my opinion. My order came without instructions, but I’m no rookie at peel-and-stick, so I prepped the wall and did everything I know to do on my end. The next day I walked into my studio excited to shoot a vintage scene only to find the majority of the paper had come all the way down and the rest was horribly bubbled and barely attached. The only places that had really stuck were the few sections I had used spray adhesive during installation. I really didn’t want to have to use that on the whole wall as it takes away the temporary appeal of the peel-and-stick rendering it unusable in a rental. Needless to say, I was so disappointed to arrive to find that mess (I’ll attach photos I took with my phone when I first walked in. No one had touched it yet.), and to have to postpone the shoot in order to fix my wall I had worked so hard on the day before. I mean, I made sure the temperature and humidity level in the room was right, the wall was clean and dry, and I know it wasn’t the fault of the environment because I have used other contact papers, peel-and-stick subway tiles, etc. in the same room with no issues. I wish this was a product that could be returned, but instead it looks like I get to wad it up and throw it and my money away. Frustrating.

The pattern is very pretty and forgiving, so the pieces and meet at the edge or overlap nicely. Or if there’s any small bubbles or wrinkles you can’t really tell. Easy to use.

Meticulously applied per directions. 3 days after applying every seam has separated. Hours of work were wasted with a job that now looks like we haphazardly applied it. Very disappointed.
