Lindt Swiss Classic Chocolate, Surfin, 2 X 100 G

It was in good condition n as usual tasty. I always buy this from stores but then the price here looked attractive, two for the price of one. Quality was the same!!

Taste good.soft but not so sweet so i personally like it. what i like the most that it comes in great package with cool pads.

Chocolates came perfectly with ice packs on each side, wrapped in silver foil wrapped in bubble wrap.I paid Rs. 400 for 2 of these (2x100g) after discount. I compared these with amul fruit n nut dark (which can often be obtained from spencers at rs 80 for 150g bar after 20% discount).Lindt felt a little more smooth, with a slight fruity flavour. Apart from that fruitiness, it is a lot like Hershey's mildly sweet special dark/medium dark chocolates. Bournville in India also has somewhat similar bittersweet balance of taste, but it is slightly less smooth and it has an offensive tobacco like flavour. Amul is the grainiest, and depending on the batch, it might also have off putting flavour like tobacco, burnt ash or just the typical chemical smell that is present in all amul chocolates.I will go with amul in future, because it is a vfm product. But this lindt can be used as cooking chocolate for making fudge/ganache, where Amul/Bournville won't do since the chocolate there must not have any bad flavour.EDIT: I have used Lindt surfin to make hot chocolate, and it was a bit sour in taste.UPDATE: I have found that there are much better and cost effective semi-sweet choices than this. They might have slightly one-note (boring) flavour and lack the slight refined/fruity flavour of Lindt, but do not have any unpleasant burnt/tobacco aroma like Amul or Bournville. Toblerone dark has a very good flavour, although slightly on the sweeter side and chalky due to less cocoa butter used. Callebaut 811b (coverture) callets are much fattier (melts in hand) and smoother texture but sweetness is restrained like Lindt, but are not sour unlike Lindt. I can wholeheartedly recommend 811b in place of Lindt surfin. Although it might feel slightly unsatisfying to eat small hemispherical callets instead of rectangular pieces, the taste is mostly the same.

I loved it. Ordered in summer and was suspicious what will happen to the chocolate; but kudos to amazon packing they packed the product with ice pack and the product was perfect.

Amazing taste. Leaves a nice bitter sweet taste in the mouth. Price is a bit high but ALL GOOD THINGS COME A GOOD PRICE.

Value for money, the flavour is dark and wonderfully smooth

It's okay. I didn't find it of remarkable taste. If ingredients are any way superior then only the price is justifiable.
