Quality holster. My 38 Special stays put in the Holster and does not fall out even when in an upside down position.The leather is stiff as to be expected. I just put my firearm in it right away and it is already loosening up and moulding to the shape of my gun.I am happy with my purchase.

It is comfortable and appears to be well made with good materials. Much more comfortable than the plastic or kydec (sp?) holsters.

First, this is a quality made holster. Yes it comes fairly flat and if you're expecting leather to keep it's shape, then buy and OWB or kydex holster. My concern is being able to draw cleanly, not putting it away. If I ever need to pull it from the holster, I think that re-holstering will be the last of my concerns. I find leather most comfortable. My favorite part is that the belt clip it high, allowing the majority of the weight to sit lower and carry more easily. (In my opinion) I was seeking this feature when choosing this holster. It also covers the whole trigger guard on my j frame. 357 / 640.Very happy.

This is a well crafted and somewhat overbuilt holster. Should last for many years to come. The leather is thicker than the hammer on the pistol.The pistol in it is not a J frame size and is a little smaller, but not by much. I'm wondering if after a period of time the pistol will not be as snug in the holster as it is now. Only time will tell. I'm in this for the long haul so..... One word of caution: If you are buying this for a Charter Arms “Undercover”. Quick withdrawal of this pistol from this holster is nearly impossible. The pistol is smaller than this holster was intended to carry and sits low inside the holster. This brings the pistols handle seriously close to the holster, making it very hard to get a good grip on the handle during withdrawal, especially if one has larger hands. Just know this.I've worn it twice already for a couple of hours each time and it is comfortable for the most part. It is on the bulky side but still conceals okay. It is also a little longer than I'd like it to be.The belt clip is strong and keeps the holster locked down. The only things that bothers me a little is that there is only single stitching on the leather where the clip is attached. But it shouldn't be a problem.I'm not disappointed in this holster and have no plans on returning it. However I will say that its not quite what I expected either.With that said, I would recommend this holster to somebody seeking one.

Nice holster

Workmanship and leather far above expectation for the cost. This does fit Taurus 856 with 3" barrel. It was snug but I wrapped pistol in plastic bag , put pistol in holster and left overnight. Perfect fit, excellent retention and trigger guard is covered. I can also carry 2.5 in snub in same holster. The leather is extremely soft out of the box. Way more comfortable than Urban carry holster at twice the price. I will be purchasing another for sheild 45acp.

I got this to IWB carry a Ruger LCR, and it works great. The brown leather looks great, and feels solid. The stitching feels like it’s gonna hold up for years. This has quickly become my go to holster for every day. It’s easy to clip on, but doesn’t feel like it’s gonna go anywhere. I have no worries about it coming out when I draw. Despite how solid it is, it is still very comfortable. I can do any of my regular activities including gathering wood, and even replacing a toilet once while wearing it. I sometimes forget I even have it on. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a similar pistol
