How does it work on curly hair?

Hello, the gap between the bristles is enough to avoid the irritation while combing the curly hair however if you apply it on the wet hair it may cause issue (well any comb would cause it). This one is built with good material and smooth edges - and easy on curly hair.

Can it be used for spiking up my hair? And add volume to the hair?

The space between the teeth is large, so spike is not possible and volume yeah.. can improve to an extent
