FoodScience of Vermont Superior Purples, Dietary Supplement Powder for Healthy Aging, 60 Servings

I was liking this product until I read the review that it contains lead. I went back and read the ingredients and there is a warning on the label that says it does contain lead. Why Food Science? What does the lead do for us?

Vermont Science to my palette and that of my wife's reigns as the leading group of digestive health care productsto consume especially if you are over 60.At 66 / 63 we are very healthy but due to the impact of injurious chem-clouds on everything from food raw to processed all these aspects aggravate the DNA sensitivities. This V.S. product line has the better taste and low on ginger and spice affects many shown in skin rashes etc..We stay with the dosage recommended and over 3 months you will see a difference, especially when you haveto head to the bathroom, life gets better!We stretch one jar to about a 2 month period give or take.Happy chemistry to all and all a good nightB & A

PRODUCT CONTAINS LEAD. Supposed to be healthy but it isn't. Funny how its on the label but not listed on the website. Threw powder in the trash immediately.

Taste is poor

this product makes you feel good but it does taste healthy. i love the feeling knowing i had my fruits for the day with all the antioxidants

The Superior Purples line has a laundry list of good stuff in it and even a reasonable amount of fiber. I've tried several other similar powders, but this one tasted best. The price is also about half of the other products I bought.
