I first bought the 14.2 oz size - way too small.I bought these glasses because every other type of glass I tried to use ended up getting etched in the dishwasher. It was embarrassing to explain to guests that the glasses were not dirty, they were just hazy from etching. These are as clear as the day we bought them, and we use them every day.I did have one incident that is not a defect, but I'm just going to warn you about it. I had a glass of ice water and before washing it, I dumped the water and ice into the sink. Unfortunately, all the ice had bound together and when I inverted the glass in order to dump the ice and water, the ice dammed up because the glass is tapered at the top. This had the effect of hitting the glass with a hammer from the inside, and the glass broke in half cleanly half way between the bottom and the top of the glass.I am much more careful now!

Hand wash. Will last for years.

I bought the 11.2 oz glasses to go with the large 18 oz Banquet series ice tea glasses that I already have (and love), and I am very pleased. The crystal has a nice ring to it when tapped and feels delicate and lightweight in the hand, though it is very tough and durable. I purchased just one box of 6 of these 11.2 oz glasses as I was not sure how the smaller size would look with what I already have, and now I will purchase another box to have a set of 12. They are delightful.

I purchased these Schott Zwiesel Tritan Crystal glasses last September expecting quality and durability, especially considering the price point of $40 for just six glasses. The product description promises "dishwasher safe" and "break resistant" glasses made with their special Tritan crystal technology.Well, last night one of the glasses SHATTERED in my dishwasher during a normal wash cycle. Less than 6 months of regular use and already one is broken? This is completely unacceptable for glasses marketed as exceptionally durable and specifically dishwasher safe.What's most disappointing is that I've been a loyal Zwiesel customer for years, having purchased multiple sets of their wine and water glasses. I specifically chose this brand because I trusted their quality and durability claims.I've reached out to the company directly to see if they'll stand behind their product and replace the broken glass. If they respond appropriately and make this right, I'll update my review. Until then, I cannot recommend these glasses if you're looking for long-lasting quality. Save your money and look elsewhere.UPDATE: I will revise this review if and when the company addresses this issue satisfactorily.

I bought several of these Schott Zwiesel Tritan Crystal glass sets for everyday and formal use, about 4 months ago. They are great. No more fear of breaking -- and I am not the neatest person when it comes to these kinds of things.The other day I knocked down one of these glasses full of tee from the kitchen counter to the marble floor. Admit that I managed to slow down the fall by letting the glass halfway land on my feet -- some kind of a reflex I acquired.Seeing the tee splashing out of the glass and hearing the metallic cling without breaking was a surreal experience. Not what I have expected.I also have the large Lager Beer Glasses ([...]) that I once tipped over with full or juice on a granite counter without breaking it. Was also surprised that it stayed whole.These glasses perform along side the white Corelle dishes I have, they just don't break.

I was looking for a drinking glass that is durable and modern looking. I'm hoping that these are durable when washed in the dish washer. The last glasses I bought cracked easily. I just got them so I can't rate the sturdiness.

These glasses are a tad bit awkward to hold, but only a little. We have run them through the dishwasher many times and they still look perfect. No etching!

Replacing some cheaper wine glasses that were badly etched from the dishwasher. These are much more durable and aren’t etching at all. Highly recommended.
