This book is meant for only those who knows a little bit of history of Israel. Scholarly written and extensively researched..A very good reference book for those who pursue middle east and it's violent history.

Interesting, weaving of events that lead up to the war, and the brilliant outcome. A certain read if you need to know the reason why of modern scene still haunting the MiddleEast!

It was an enlightening read of the event that probably has shaped the present day middle east. It (thankfully) is not a run down of day wise event of the war per se, but an intriguing mesh of the events at tactical, operational, strategic, diplomatic, political & international level; nicely interwoven. An interesting read. highly recommend it for learners of military, diplomacy, international relations & history (of course!!!)

Easily one of the best books I have read... Well written and fast paced... Came highly recommend and I wasn't disappointed

Awesome book. Covers all aspects of before, during and after the war. But Gor war fanatics, very few details of the war with almost no description of weapons, strategy, etc. but amazing I'm terms of geopolitics.
