Amazing for any Star Wars fan
Over the last year or two, I've been getting more and more into Star Wars books. Digging into the lore and getting backstories that add so much depth to characters that have been around for 40 years has been such a delight for a self-proclaimed Star Wars geek like myself. So, naturally, when I heard that the Visual Dictionaries were a great source of Star Wars info, I had to get in on the action myself. And boy, I was not disappointed! The book is brimming with high-quality photos and schematics from start to finish. Written by Pablo Hidalgo, part of the Lucasfilm Story Group, it dives into each section of the film and provides a lot of information on both the bigger things (literally massive things like the Supremacy) and the smaller details, like the design of Snoke's slippers. The book even goes so far to provide backstories to minor characters who only have seconds of screen time. While it may seem unnecessary and inconsequential, I personally find that these small touches make me feel more immersed in the story that unfolds on screen, especially when you see the film on multiple viewings. One minor gripe some people may have is that it doesn't take very long to flick through the whole thing. However, if you do take the time to scour every page for the tiny details and gorgeous visuals, you'll definitely get a lot out of this book!If you're a fan of The Last Jedi, and you want to find out more about the worlds and characters of the film, then I would absolutely recommend getting the Visual Dictionary!

Didn't like the movie but the book is excellent.
I'm one of the old-school whiners about the Last Jedi, it being among my least preferred Star Wars movie.Leaving that aside, this book is excellent as are the other's in this series. The Last Jedi is still about a galaxy filled with marvellous aliens, curious characters and exciting locations. And many of those are described in more detail in this book.Lots to explore about the Canto Bight casino, the caretakers on Ach To or those towering AT-M6's. With little back stories on many characters that only got brief airtime in the movie.Still think that DK could easily produce three of such books per movie - come on!, please!

Rogue one Visual Dictionary is better
Great visual book but lacks lots of props, also the use of some older photos make it inaccurate, as example kylo ren’s lightsaber is the force awakens lightsaber not the repatterned one for the last jedi also the info says it has a part cut out for iEasy upgrade and changing parts, when we know it’s not true after watching the movie, it was modified to have the crossguard and red crystal later. The Rogue One visual Dictionary seemed better for props reference

Lovely Hardback Guide That Adds Flavour To The Star Wars Universe And Last Jedi Story.
Lovely hardback book featuring lots of nice images. It could be a bit thicker and include more but to be honest there is quite a lot packed into the book considering its relatively small size. What I like most about the book is it gives you lots of little details that enrich the Star Wars universe and particularly the characters, locations and creatures of The Last Jedi movie. Some people may be disappointed that it's not a bit thicker but at the price I think it's very reasonable. It's a nice addition to any Star Wars collection so if you are a fan then grab it.

I dislike the Last Jedi
I guess my dislike for the train wreck of a movie makes me give any rating to this book low. This was a preorder and if I knew how much the movie would suck I would have never preordered this book. Sold it on eBay straight away.

Great for SW fans
Great build and print quality. An in depth look into the The Last Jedi and everything it features in the movie.I'm a bit jealous actually as I bought this as a gift, but after flicking through it I want it now!

Great for any Star Wars fan
Absolute bargain - bought 3 books for just £2 each.My 7 year old son has 1 - he loves it and the other 2 will be used as birthday presents. My son is an advanced reader however and this book would suit older children too.Full of lots of interesting info and great illustrations. Any Star Wars fan would love this.

"Help me Obi Wan, We have run out of ideas!"
Recycled and regurgitated designs that offer nothing more than, oh! that is a new B-Wing, or that looks like a gorilla At-At! Hey isn't that an obscure Mcquarrie design from 1978? All rebels have an embroidered starbird logo just to remind the audeince and themselves who they fight for. Everything looks cheap and dull. I guess the toys sales and lack of interest on the RPF for this installment speak for themselves. Up there with the AOTC visual dictionary. remember that fan favourite 'Sleaze Bagano' anyone?

Colourful and Informative
I bought the first book in this series, The Force Awakens Visual Dictionary and if you are interested in detail then they are handy books to have. Easy explanations and nice photographs of characters with background information and an in depth look into weaponry as well as information you would not get by watching the films.

Bargain!
I wouldn’t spend £15.99 on this but at £2 it made an excellent stocking filler for a Star Wars obsessed kid! Had a quick flick through before wrapping and the content looks interesting & engaging.

Wonderful detailing that you come to expect in this series ...
Wonderful detailing that you come to expect in this series and books. Just wished Dorian Kingsley as a publisher had been about to detail Gerry AndersonThunderbirds, Stingray, Scarlet, UFO etc. as with Star Wars and the same with Blake's 7

Must Try Harder, Mickey Mouse
three stars for the £5.00 price, but comparatively light on detail and page count when compared against the more expansive, better read that was the Rogue One Visual Dictionary; could be a bit of a rush job to trouser the Christmas sales, given the film's proximity to Christmas.

Bargain quality book
These visual film guides are amazing for all sorts. Just fans. Kids. Or crazy people like me who try and recreat the screen used costumes to wear in our spare time. And at £2 it's hard to say no.

Another great addition to the visual dictionary series
Always enjoyed these visual guides. This is a neat addition to the series, full of interesting and sometimes unusual information about characters, planets, vehicles and weapons from The Last Jwdi
