If you enjoy having elastic fabric stretched over your toes, these are the socks for you. "Sugar-Free" now seems to be using a super stretchy fabric to replace the original fabric used in their socks. There's something to be said for the super stretchy fabric, but it's not for everyone. Twice I tried to replace my original "Sugar-Free" socks with what I thought was going to be exactly the same thing, only to find out that it was not possible to get the same thing anymore. For me, toe room is important. With the new socks it's impossible to get toe room because the elastic fabric just snaps right back.

I've tried diabetic socks before and have been disappointed. They have either had an uncomfortable seem in the toe or would be down around my ankles within an hour of putting then on. These socks are extremely comfortable and stay up for the entire day while walking around. I would recommend them to anyone and have even purchased them as gifts for family members that have diabetes. I would even recommend them to people who don't have diabetes but want a comfortable sock that will stay up without cutting off your circulation or leaving impressions on your calves from squeezing them all day.

I was really looking forward to these socks, as I needed both navy and black and it seems most come in only black or white. Although they are lightweight, soft and quite long, they won't stay up. The socks fall down and bunch up at the ankle and under the sole as well. I'm 5'10" and the socks come well above mid-calf, but fall down within 30 minutes or so of wear. I tried folding the socks to sit a little lower on my calf, but had the same results. Very disappointed.

They unravel quickly.

These socks are warm , comfortable, and supportive.

These socks gives a comfortable feel to wearing dress socks all day without having the imprint of the sock on my legs when I take them off, at the end of the day.
