Works Great
Easy to install and very sturdy. Work great to support a slightly sagging floor joist.

Using 5 of these to support the house.
I'm using 5 of these to support the house. For unintelligible reasons beyond my understanding, it is impossible to find proper supports (concrete-filled steel tubes) at any home improvement stores near me. My old supports were failing so I was left with no other choice but to use these. These are very heavy duty. The steel support plates are 25% thicker than the junk jack posts sold at big box stores. You can clearly see the difference in quality.I made 2 1/2 thick standoffs using high precision, high strength grout. Wait 2 or 3 days to cure and this kind of grout can support at least one ton per square inch; at 28 days it will support many tons per square inch. I placed these jack stands on the grout standoffs, very slowly jacked these in place and these are successfully supporting the house. These have to be some of the best floor jacks you can possibly buy. It's definitely worth the money.

Heavy Duty Strong Post!
This post is really nice, and I have installed plenty of them for various jobs and used some for quick temporary support on other jobs. The only reason for the 4 stars is they can sometimes be difficult to turn up under a load. i often need to use a large pipe wrench to hold the collar from turning on the pole while turning the adjusting screw up. I'm sure the company could create a notch to mate the collar and pole to prevent this in the future, but they are great otherwise and still worth the money to me despite the need for the small improvement that would prevent the need of a pipe wrench.

Saved my life and my house
The original post in my garage supporting the beam for my entire house began to rust near the garage floor and started to buckle. As I was installing this post, The original post failed right as I was finishing the installation. This post literally took over as the beam began to sag as the original post blew out at the bottom. I lost about 1/8" of sag in the process but it saved my house and saved me from being crushed. needless to say, I bought another once and installed it as well to ensure nothing like that ever happens again.

Not worth it
I purchased these because the brand and the weight capacity. One out of the eight I ordered were ready to go out of the box. Installation required me to remove dents. Straight out of the box parts were missing and to top it all off, adjusting the height proves to be difficult. These jacks don’t lock in place so it spins freely when you’re trying to adjust the height. If you’re good at welding and have the supplies to do so I’d say this is an affordable choice. If you wouldn't mind hitting up the hardware store that is. If I could do it again, I would’ve gone with another product.
