The media could not be loaded. My Halogen Oven bulb stopped working and I decided to try and replace. My JML oven is quite an old one unlike the new ones which now have a slot to change bulb. This bulb was an execellent choice and great value for money as you get the bulb, new clips and the ceramic block which makes it so much easier. Firstly my advice check Youtube for help as it has step to step help. You unscrew the main fan and side clips and the first cover comes off. Take the inner fan off and loosen the next screws but no need to unscrew completely. Cut the wire off old bulb leaving enough to join using the ceramic block. Gently connect the wires to block and just slip it under the loosened cover. No need to screw it or attach as it sits nicely underneath. Put everything back and hey presto a new working Halogen Oven. I’ve used it several times and it’s fine for under 10 pounds a repaired Halogen Oven. I am so pleased as my oven cost me over £80 at the time and repaired for a Tena.Advice: measure bulb size of old one. Secondly if unsure take a photo of each section so you know where all goes. I highly recommend you having a go rather then buy a new oven.

Instructions are not included but a straight forward operation remembering not to touch the bulb with your bare hands. If you do the bulb will blow when current is applied.I would suggest watching a video on you tube if you are not used to this work or ask a professional if preferred. The product is very good but fiddly to fit.

used to fix my 17 litre Daewoo oven which was out of its two year guarantee.As simple as rewiring a 3 pin plug, all you need is 30mins, a crosshead screwdriver, and something to strip/cut 4 wires ( pliers, cutters, hobby knife or even scissors would do ). There are vids on youtube, I positioned the supplied connection block on the outside of the heater guard, as inside seemed a bit tight.Saved at least a fifth of the price of a new oven, plus saves sending more fixable stuff into landfill.

Worked a treat so didn't need to buy a new halogen oven.

Not recommended. The replacement Halogen tube lamp has plan wire-end connections and is supplied with a high temperature ceramic connector which is ludicrously to big for the job and will not fit under the lamp cover. Whereas the original lamp (on my Halogen fryer anyway) had a small and neat inline 2 pin plug and socket connection arrangement which fitted neatly under the lamp cover.Fortunately I had a much smaller ceramic connector which did fit under the lamp cover and so the repair was very successful and full service was restored.Please be careful if you decide to buy one of these replacements lamps for the above reason and shame on you Amazon for selling these replacements with the wrong size connector.I wish I'd kept the inline 2 pin plug and socket I had to remove to fit the new lamp so I could have photographed it and attached it to this review to make it easier to see the issue. Whoever, this issue may not be the same for all Halogen fryers of this type. Please take care.

I purchased this for the second time in January 2025 for a newer halogen oven where that blub had gone and once securely fitted, it lasted only 5 days. I have not replaced it since, instead I have been using my cooker rather than waste money.

These halogen elements have kept my halogen oven going for the last 4 years, you need a knowledge of electrics so if you are not sure how to fit them ask someone qualified. I Have fitted these myself and are quite easy to fit compared to other suppliers these are competively priced and come with a heat proof connection block(which other suppliers charge for) cannot praise these enough definitely recommend to buy. Excellent price

This fitted my oven and works very well, It is tricky to fit as you have to make sure the wires are not trapped when re-assembling but it does come with a connector block (heat proof) so the idea is to cut the existing wires close to the old element and use the connector block to connect them to the new element as otherwise you have to replace the crimped connectors this is not easy. The connector block is ceramic so ok for the heat generated and can be screwed to existing holes on the inside of the cooker head.
