For the price- it’s a must try
They work great for saltwater. Have had luck catching many types of fish. This is my first review ever on Amazon. Never done one before but over satisfied with these lures. Just ordered 2 sets more. Are they durable, not really, hooks break but they get bites and big ones!

Great buy!
Anyone reading this likely knows that a name brand lure costs as much as all eight of these. So naturally you see that and question the quality or think they must be junk. For 9 bucks though I was willing to take the chance and give them a try, and I'm not at all disappointed. You have to remember, fish won't scrutinize the details of these like we do. They bite out of reaction from either hunger or protecting territory and the fact is these lures work. Do they have the quality paint and materials found on a Rapala? No. But I don't care. They're cheap and catch fish and that's all that matters to me.

Nice colors and a decent value
I had to remove the front treble hook in order to make these float the way they should. However, for $1 each, I still consider these as a pretty good value. If you leave the front treble attached they will be fine for fishing really deep, but in shallower water they are likely to hang on the bottom most of the time. They do "swim" nicely unlike many of the cheaper lures I have tried. I have found that crank baits like these will hook most fish perfectly well with only the rear treble attached, and the lure is much easier to remove from the fish with only one treble hook. The good news is that the lure colors appear to be pretty decent. I believe about any of the colors might catch a fish. I did catch a bass on my first cast which seems to be a good sign. I plan to use these mostly for very slow trolling using my electric trolling motor. At the low speed on my trolling motor these should run about 3 to 5 feet deep.

Playing hooky
Wide mouth produces a good splash on the surface. Great for inshore freshwater. Nice colors. The item is too light weight, for long surf casting, as-is. Especially against the wind. Rigging with added weights removes the splash factor.Hooks are too weak for most salt surf fisherman. I'm thinking of changing out the hooks, and adding a buck tail for casting weight.

Awesome tropical lures
I used these for fishing the atlantic coast of Panama and wasn't disappointed. My other lures just weren't getting good hits. After I switched to these I immediately pulled in two fish. The colors and size of these was perfect for semi-shallow (2 to 5 feet deep) fishing around coral reefs. The metal could be better but for the price these are plenty good. I plan on ordering more. The lures dive nice and wiggle great. There is even one that glows under water! The pictures show just how well they performed.

as advertised
I got the crappie lure size. Was impressed by the different and vivid colors. Haven't got them into the water yet to see how they swim so will update when I do. First inspection...great value.
