Works exactly like an AirTag but perfect form factor for a wallet tracker
Sometimes I go run errands, and when I get there to the store, I realize my wallet is missing. Then I’m thinking “Did I leave it in the car, or did I drop it, or leave the house without my wallet?” Then begins a nervewracking few hours of guessing where it is until I get home, where my wallet has been the whole time. The SpotMinder Tracking Card, placed in my wallet, helps to prevent this common situation for me. If nothing else, it brings peace of mind knowing that I have indeed left my wallet at home, or if it did get lost, I know where it is.I already use Apple AirTags for my keys, and even have one hidden in my car. However, the AirTag is a bit bulky if used in my wallet. This is why I got the SpotMinder Tracking Card - it is the size and thickness of a credit card, making it ideal for use in a wallet. I would go so far as to say that it could be a good fit for use in a car. Most thieves would be looking for a round AirTag and will easily overlook a non-descript card.Activating the SpotMinder is easy. The instructions on the included mini-manual are easy to follow. Just follow the six steps in the Quick User Guide. I noted that Step 4 is not exactly correct - it says to Tap “Other Supported Item”. In fact, you should tap “Add Other Item” as that is what actually appears on the Apple device screen. The written instructions on the other side of the Quick Start Guide, shows “Add Other Item”, and is correct. This is just a small discrepancy between the Quick Start Guide and the written instructions on the other side, and may lead to some confusion if you are trying to activate the tracking card. The tracking card is shipped with the card somewhat charged. I pressed the power button and the card powered up. I don’t know the exact charge level, so I put it on the charger to fully charge it before I put it in my wallet. When the card is fully charged, the LED will turn green on the card. On the matter of charging, the information in the Quick Start Guide is a little confusing. The card does NOT come with a charger, and you will need to either buy one, or use an existing wireless mag charger. The information in the quick start guide wasn’t exactly clear on this, or what type of charger you need. I used the wireless magnetic charger that I charge my iPhone with. This card can only be charged using a wireless mag charger, and there is no provision to accept a USB cable. I can’t comment on the battery life and how long between charges, as I am just starting to use this card now.The card works exactly in the same way as the AirTag. I can access the location information in the Find My app on the phone. If lost, I can enable the Notify function. I can also set the “Notify when left behind” function from the Find My app as well. If misplaced, the card can emit a sound to help you locate it.The tracking card is a little bit more expensive than the AirTag, but it does have a rechargeable battery so that you can use it over and over again. However, if you don’t have a wireless magnetic charger already, then that is an additional cost to be incurred.Overall, the tracking card worked exactly as an AirTag does. I found it easy to set up and use. It is perfect for use in my wallet where an AirTag does not have the right form factor. I am overall very happy with this tracking card, and would recommend it for someone looking to track their wallet.

Reliable Find My Tracker with Easy Setup, but Price Could Be Lower
TL;DR: Works just like any Find My item. Easy setup. The price is too high; should be around $10.------------------------------------------------------This review is for the Tracker Tag for Apple Find My Network, a handy little device that integrates seamlessly with Apple’s Find My app. It works just like any other Find My item, has an easy setup, but is priced too high; it should be around $10. I’ll expand on these points, sharing how I’ve used this tracker and why it’s a solid choice, despite the price concern. The functionality of this tracker is exactly as advertised—it works like any other Find My item, such as an AirTag. I paired it with my iPhone in less than a minute by following the listing’s instructions: press the button on the tracker, open the Find My app, and add it as a new item. The process was smooth, and the tracker appeared in the app instantly, ready to track my belongings. I placed it in my wallet, which I’m notorious for misplacing, and tested it by leaving it in various spots around the house. The Find My app accurately showed the tracker’s location, and the sound feature (a loud chirp) helped me locate my wallet under a couch cushion within seconds. The listing claims a range of up to 100 feet, and I found this to be accurate in my tests, even through walls. The ease of setup is a major pro. As someone who’s not particularly tech-savvy, I appreciated that it required no complicated apps or account creation, unlike some other trackers I’ve tried. The tracker is compact, about the size of a credit card. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and the battery is still going strong, though I haven’t tested its full lifespan yet.The price, listed at $30, is the main drawback. For comparison, I’ve seen similar trackers from lesser-known brands priced closer to $10, and while this one performs well, it doesn’t offer any standout features to justify the higher cost. Still, the functionality is identical to an AirTag in my experience, so if you’re looking for a non-Apple alternative, this is a good option.Hypothetically, this tracker would be great for someone who frequently travels or has a busy household. Imagine a parent attaching it to a child’s backpack to keep tabs on it during school trips or using it on a luggage bag at the airport. The compact size and reliable tracking make it versatile for various scenarios, from securing valuables to keeping track of a pet that likes to wander. The listing is accurate about the tracker’s compatibility with the Find My network and its setup process. The only con is the price, which feels a bit steep. If it were closer to $10, it’d be a no-brainer purchase. I received this product for free through Amazon Vine, but I’d recommend it to anyone in the Apple ecosystem looking for a reliable tracker, provided they’re okay with the cost.

Great addition to any wallet
This is a neat gps for wallets. It’s literally the size of a credit card (maybe just a tad thicker) and fits perfectly in one of the credit card slots in my wallet. Just a heads up, you must have the Apple Find My App to use this gps card. If you’re device does not support this app, you can’t use this gps card. With that being said, this Spotminders GPS Tracking Card was super easy to set up and add to my Find My app. The little instruction booklet they provided explained everything perfectly and made set up a breeze. Now that it’s set up, I have the peace of mind that I can locate my wallet if I set it down and can’t remember where I put it or heaven forbid if someone else steals it. Unfortunately in today’s world, having a small gps tracker in a wallet is probably a really good idea and something most people should think about getting. I’m glad I got one.Last thing I wanted to point out was that this gps card can only be charged wirelessly. If you don’t have a wireless charger, this gps card might not be for you.

A Credit-Card Sized Airtag
Very happy with the addition of the SpotMinder tracker to my FindMy application. The card is about twice as thick as a standard credit card, and has one simple button on it to power it on. It charges via wireless charging pads in rapid fashion, and it slides right into my wallet disappearing as if it were any other bank card. Adding it to my phone was simple, and the company provides an easy to follow video to guide you through the process of connecting it to your Find My app.I'm pleased to say after a week of having this, that it works just like any other Airtag. It transparently helps me keep track of my wallet wherever I set it down in the house, and it has a nice loud 'alert' sound that can be played remotely when I manage to drop it under the bed or in the couch.
