I make videos and I'm a podcaster, and I'm a huge BOYA fan. I was already impressed with the BOYA Mini (wireless) lavalier mics last year, and I've been eagerly awaiting the BOYA Magic. It did not disappoint!! The sound quality is great, and you get so much value and flexibility with this microphone set. The gear is lightweight and compact and easy to throw in a bag and take with you. It's great for traveling or on-the-go recording.What you'll get:- A hand-held mic that you can hold in your hand or mount on a tripod or camera- Inside the hand-held mic, two removable wireless lavalier mics that stay inside the larger mic as a charging station- A foam pop screen on the hand-held mic- A carrying case that includes two "dead cat" (furry) windscreens for the two lavaliers and a larger furry windscreen for the hand-held mic- Charging cables- Basic printed instructions, with a QR code that leads to a full set of instructionsAt the base of the hand-held mic, you'll see a removable receiver. This is what you plug into the USB-C port of your recording equipment (phone, tablet, computer, or camera).The sound quality with noise reduction is excellent. I haven't yet explored all the possibilities, but I'm happy with what I've heard thus far -- it isolates my voice well from background noise, and it has a pleasing, warm sound.A few tips on using this gear:- Be sure to remove the plastic strips that lie underneath each of the lavalier mics when they're inside the base of the larger hand-held mic, and also the two small plastic strips that are on each of the two lavaliers.- Press the button on the receiver (in the USB-C port) for at least five seconds until the blue lights flash quickly -- this indicates readiness to pair with the mic. Do the same with the microphone.- After pairing, press one more time until the lights turn green, which indicates noise cancellation.I have had some issues pairing the handheld mic to the receiver, but the two small lavalier mics connect easily.Both the small microphones and the larger hand-held microphones had excellent sound quality. I tested them on a Mac and an iPad, and with the Open Camera app on an Android tablet. I'm going to buy an additional Lightning receiver so I can also use it with an older iPhone, too. Considering the innovative packaging, the versatility, and the reasonable price, I recommend this mic for making videos or interviews on-the-go.

WOW! What an IMPRESSIVE remarkably well designed item! The only criticism I have is that directions and explanations on the website aren't great, so it took me a bit of time to figure out exactly what I had here, and the full extent of the Boya Magic's EXTENSIVE capabilities! They sell this in different configurations with different acessories, so double check that, if I mention an item you need, that the version you're clicking on includes it.The Magic is a charger that holds two teeny tiny boya clip-on mics which have incredible range. The mics can be used individually OR they can sit in the case and the case can be used as a handheld mic! Wow! All of these mics need to connect to a receiver and there a multiple options: there are two different dongles that plu into phones (lightning for older iPhones, USBC for others) AND also a receiver that can connect via 3.5mmm audio cable to a camera or whatever else requires that input. Also included are windscreens for hte mics, wind socks for the magic stick itself, 3.5mm cords and a carrying case. Honestly my one big cncern is there's so much stuf here and it's all so tiny, I'm afraid I might lose something; duh that's on me.The mics are pre-paired with the receiver so you take them out and they just WORK! Like seriously! I have some small bluetooth connected items that don't make noise or have a digital read out and pairing them can be annoying, but this is already done for you.Considering how tiny and affordable all of this is, the sound quality is EXCELLENT. I work in TV, and while it's not up to a 4K studio standard, it's absolutely solid for Youtube or Podcasting. I've only just begun to explore and play with what this thing can do but I'm SUPER EXCITED!

This mic set has above and beyond quality and functionality for the price. As someone who needs to record videos in a variety of ways every day, this mic set is what I go to after testing piles of mics.Here's what I noticed:✅ All three mics have excellent sound that is very clear✅ Gain is excellent and adjustable for professional recording standards.✅ Clips are metal and very strong. They also are magnetized if you need to attach in a non-clippable spot✅ Clip ons have handy haptic buttons that give you great control while recording✅ Main body mic holds and charges the clip ons which lets you keep recording on a single mic indefinitely by swap-charging mics.✅ Batteries have a decent run time and you can easily keep track of how much charge you have while recording.✅ I love the case. It's organized, premium, and keeps everything together in one location. It's not just a scattered bag of parts.✅ The wand mic body has a universal mount screw which lets you record on a podcasting mic stand, boom stand, or any other mounting that might be needed.There are too many great things to say about this mic. If you need a real sound solution to work with your phone, computer, or otherwise, on the go, this is the best I've found and it's worth every penny. 💯If there are any changes in this mic set's quality, I'll report back in. 🤞 I hope you found my pictures and notes useful!
