I've been lucky enough to be able to test out this new automatic curling iron from SHEGLAM. I already tested their new straightener, and I loved it. They also have a new Airflow styler that I'm really hoping to be able to test out.I've seen these types of automatic curling irons before, and they really intrigued me. It does take a few tries to get it right, so don't give up and be patient. Take a small amount of hair and slide it through the part at the top and feed it through one of the slots. Choose the temperature you want and the direction you want the hair to curl in, then press the middle button and it will automatically twist the rod and your hair with it. It does beep when it's ready to be released. I love that at just a switch of a button you can change the direction of the curls; it's a really nice feature. I have the 32mm curler, so the curls are nice wide curls and not super tight.

Very good curler. Easy to use and perfect results. Different heating settings and going both directions to do a curl to both sides. Compact enough and quality feels very premium.

You can create curls with the touch of a button.After two beeps, the wave is ready! Everything happens very quickly, and you don't have to spend an inordinate amount of time to get curls.The top of the curling iron has a special design that makes the entire process easy.It also supposedly releases a large amount of negative ions, retains moisture, and prevents heat damage. It eliminates static, smooths frizz, and adds softness and shine. If so, the manufacturer claims, that's an added bonus. Either way, it's worth buying. I recommend it.

Although beginner friendly and relatively easy to use, I initially struggled with getting the technique right and figuring out exactly where to place my hair in the curlers. The process involves starting from the top of the hair strand, inserting it into the slot at the top of the curler, and pressing the rotate button. You can also adjust the direction of the rotation.My hair is very thin and prone to flyaways, so not all of my strands were caught by the machine. Next time, I plan to use a styling product to give my hair more grip. The models in the videos make it look effortless, but as a beginner, I found it a bit tricky at first. That said, I still find this tool easier to use than anything else I’ve tried, so with more practice, I’m confident I’ll get the hang of it.The curls themselves are soft, natural looking, and not too tight. There are three temperature levels, and I find the middle setting works perfectly for my hair. Additional features include a nice long cable and the fact that it doesn’t tend to burn your fingers like some other curling tongs. Overall, great value, and I would definitely recommend it.

There is a narrower 25mm version that is intended for creating Tight Curls. So you need to decide the type of curls you are aiming for, and select the appropriate model, or consider both Models if you are after a mixture of both Loose and Tight Curls!𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄If you would care to view my Images, and watch my Video, these combined may give you a good idea of what to expect. I won't otherwise repeat the detailed Specifications again here, because those are already well set out in the sales listing.This is a well made Hair Curling device, and I was pleased to see it has been properly manufactured as a Class II Double Insulated unit, that carries the Box within a Box Symbol, to confirm Double Insulation. Because of this, all such devices do not need a functioning Earth, hence why the Plug's Earth Pin is plastic. That is quite legal and correct. In turn, the CE Symbol was correct, using appropriate and valid spacing of the two letters.The heating technology is not stated, but the fact that it heats up fast and maintains temperature, suggests it's a modern unit. I cannot confirm that, and would have preferred that this was fully stated in the details. But in operation, it's efficient, fast and holds the three selectable temperatures very well. This stability contributes to ensuring hair is not over-heated. My wife and daughter confirmed neither had any issues with their hair being burnt.The Power Cord rotates 360° which helps to avoid getting tangled up in the Cord when using it. The Cord itself is 2 Core (2x 0.75mm²) so just an insulated Live Wire and an insulated Neutral Wire within the Outer Insulation, confirming there is no Earth, which is quite correct for a Class II Double Insulated device.𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻The device is very easy to use, with two Buttons, a Switch and an LED based Temperature Panel, that I respectively demonstrate in the video. Those are as follows, in the same order as they appear vertically when holding the device upright, and using the same numbering as in the Instructions (so ascending from the bottom):(𝟰) Left/Right Direction Switch. Move this, as needed, to Rotate Left or Right.(𝟯) Rotation Button. Insert hair, and Press this to wrap the hair around the Ceramic Coated Heating Element. When the Button is released, the Timer starts, and emits two Beeps when the Timer ends. Remove hair, and admire the Loose Curl you have just created!(𝟮) LED Light Panel. An LED illuminates next to the selected Temperature, and Flashes when warming up, then goes steady when at that Temperature and makes a long Beep when at that Temperature. There are three Temperature choices:170° C (340° F) - for Fine Hair Textured Hair (and damaged hair).190° C (380° F) - for Medium Textured Hair.210° C (410° F) - for Coarse Textured Hair.(𝟭) Power Button (and Temperature Selection Button). Hold for 2 seconds to turn on, and press again to select a higher Temperature than the default 170° C (340° F) Temperature.
