Best of the best
These have been my go to vacuums. They have great suction power and a long hose so you dont have to pull around a vacuum everywhere you go. Hang on the wall and just flip the switch on and off. Bag replacement is a breeze and are easy to find for replacements.

Very good product
Love it. Reaches into the house where our litter boxes are, and outside the garage to vacuum cars.

VERY useful vacuum/blower, and made in the USA
I needed a vacuum cleaner in my garage for vacuuming the floor and my workbench area. I researched many different systems before settling on this one, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. It has become truly indispensable: aside from using it for the garage floor and workbench, my wife and I use it all the time to vacuum our cars. Here are some of the reasons I'm so happy with this vacuum:1) Great suction power. It has no trouble getting up dirt and debris, whether around the garage or inside our cars.2) Includes many different attachments (see photo). The brush attachment works great in our cars, and the long pointy one is nice for tight spaces.3) Can also be used as a blower. This is HUGE -- I use it to blow out our garage all the time. Obviously it’s not as powerful as a dedicated leaf blower, but it has plenty of heft for those periodic garage cleanings, plus it’s super convenient. Just connect the hose to the “out” port on the vacuum instead of the “in” port, plug the spacer into the “in” port, and you’re all set. I probably use this for blowing out my garage just as often as I use it for vacuuming.4) The PRO version has a metal wand for the attachments. The wand has a hefty feel to it and has shown no signs of wear even after being bumped against all sorts of things.5) Mounts easily to a wall. Just attach the included bracket to a stud and hang the vacuum on it. Couldn’t be easier.Includes a hose mount and an accessory bag for the attachments.A few tips: This first one may be obvious, but to decide whether you need the 30’ or the 50’ hose use a measuring tape to measure the distance from your intended mounting location to all the places you want to be able to reach with the vacuum. I have a three-car garage and the 30’ hose gives me plenty of length (I mounted the vacuum in the center of my garage). Second, make sure there is a grounded outlet nearby -- the cord on this thing is only 6’ long. Third, buy a hook so you can hang the included accessory bag on the wall near the vacuum, and then you’ll have all the attachments right there when you need them.I can’t stress enough how convenient it is having a vacuum cleaner AND blower in our garage, and we couldn’t be happier with this unit. And made in the USA to boot! Highly recommended.

no blinking lights, bells, whistles, only performance.
Fully intent on using my ski pass first day this season..FedEx arrived this morning two days after placing my order for the VacuMaid. It arrived intact.. very well packaged. Too curious about this 'plain Jane' industrial looking unit, I tossed in the bottom plate, affixed the thick-as-a-blanket, strong bag and fliped its switch. It is quiet as a mouse, almost, but nearly went for the earplugs to baffle the sound of rushing air at the end of 30 ft. of hose. I purchased the 'Pro' 5.7 HP model. Don't know how many inches of mercury this unit lifts but air slot/nozzle velocity is essential at the edges of attachments or they won't perform. The smooth-bore 'real' hose..no kinky/bindy theater prop..must account for some of this. Having used thousands of vacuums in my career and having owned ones powered by as many as 8 cylinders I can attest: "Its not the raw power, its the engineering." The thick, particle sized gradient filtration of the bag delivered constant airflow after 3 hours..and years of dust disappeared into its folds. Too late to ski I moved on, three felt hats and all the drapes and blinds later, to my shop where it got bolted to the wall along with the caddy for the 'real' tools/attachments. Vacuumed work truck, car then used the blower to dust down all stock, benches and walls..it works from 8-10 feet even! There are no balky clips to warp the tight gravity seal on the lid..mount the unit so the bag can be reached for occasional gentle agitation to keep the airflow at tops. These pricey bags are a huge improvement over the usual and will likely hold their full quota of dirt before replacement. They look tearproof which is essential. The fit of hoses and tools is excellent. My experience with vacuum units has showed the bells, whistles, and blinking lights to be mostly 'sales features'..included to get the unit sold! I thought this plain Jane might do real work..it does! One small flaw is the location of the bleed valve on the handle right where you hold on. They all seem to be here and would not be unintentionally activated while working if placed just past the bend.
