Fresh and delicious
This one pound bag of Donty Tonty assorted salt water taffies are individually wrapped. This is the third candy order I've gotten from Donty Tonty, and they've all been yummy. Hard taffy can be a real tooth filling-breaker, but this is very fresh candy. The expiration date is 12/26, and the taffy is soft. They are gluten and nut-free, and made in the USA.When I opened the bag, I didn't know where to begin. Each piece is colored vaguely to represent the flavor, but it's mostly guess work. It reminds me of a certain movie character and his box of chocolates. I won't bother to list all the flavors I tried, since each bag probably has a random assortment. Besides, the flavors are listed on the product page. I will merely say that, except for the watermelon, I loved them all. It's impossible to eat just one.If you have even half the sweet tooth I have, then I highly recommend this taffy assortment, and also suggest you try some of the other old-fashioned candies this seller has to offer.

On the fence.
I'm a bit in two minds about these taffies. None of the flavors were objectively bad nor were any notably great. The cinnamon was the most identifiable and probably the one that best matched its flavor name. Unfortunately it also happens to be my least favorite flavor in general, and the one most represented in the assortment. Some of the flavors were downright confusing like the orange swirl ones. Still don't know what they were. The ones I liked most were the vanilla and chocolate. Obviously taste is subjective, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Speaking of salt, these are pretty salty as far as salt water taffy goes. It took like two to normalize my taste buds.Shipping sweets to AZ in the summer is always an adventure, so when they arrived, they were a mushy mess. I popped them in the fridge for a bit to harden up then let the soften to room temp. For the most part, the taffy came free of the paper wrappers, but on some, it was a struggle to peel off. A handful of them managed to escape their wrappers creating clusters of wrapped taffy. All of them suffered from the same problem which was tiny pieces of taffy breaking free and shooting off in various directions just from unwrapping them. I ended up having to eat them at the kitchen table because taffy got on my carpet and couch and required some delicate removal. If I had to sum up my experience with these, I'd say that in the future, I wouldn't decline one if someone offered, but I also wouldn't buy them for myself again.

Delicious and great for parties or at the office
This saltwater taffy is a huge hit at my office and has quickly become a favorite among my coworkers. The bag comes with 12 different flavors, so there is something for everyone to enjoy whether they like fruity, creamy, or classic sweet flavors. Each piece is individually wrapped, which keeps everything fresh and makes it easy to share or add to a candy jar. The texture is soft and chewy, and while it does stick to your teeth a bit, that is exactly what you would expect from traditional taffy. I appreciate that the quality feels fresh and not like it has been sitting around in storage. The colorful bag also makes it nice enough to gift or set out for parties and gatherings. Overall, this is a delicious treat that works perfectly for the office, home, or any occasion where you want to offer a variety of fun flavors.

Good soft chew, tastes fresh, mixed flavors.
A one pound bag of old school Taffy candy each piece individually wrapped in wax paper, the bag is labeled with an expiration date of 12/12/2026. Just visually you see all sorts of pastel Easter like colors, it says there is 12 different flavors. The candies are all fresh tasting, they are soft and chewy with no hit of any hard spots. If you have never had taffy its almost like a soft bubblegum that breaks down and has a thin slimy covering as you eat it. The flavors are all over the place, some are hard to figure out but they are decent, some good like birthday cake some not so much.

Delicious, flavorful, saltwater taffy
I’m a big fan of saltwater taffy so I decided to try this. It’s a good size bag of candies, and there are a lot of great flavors to try. The first I tried was the white with speckles, which I think is birthday cake — a very unique flavor (with a hint of butter rum maybe). There’s a green one with brown caramel around it, which tastes like a caramel apple. The reddish pink is a mild cinnamon and the orange tastes like an orange cream popsicle. They’re all mouthwateringly delicious.
