I walk my dogs at night in a suburban neighborhood without sidewalks. I have four different hi-viz vests and this this one is the fanciest of them all. The vest is absolutely full of pockets! There are large and small pockets, inside and outside pockets, pockets that zipper secure and pocket that are easy access. This is a dream come true for me. All the miscellaneous stuff I carry can go in an appropriate pocket. For instance, there's an easy reach in pocket for my pepper spray. The over the top pocket is the one in the back that is like a game pocket. It's huge. I could fit a small dog in there.The vest is heavy enough to support all these pockets. The neck is padded and helps distribute the weight of all the stuff in all the pockets. I know the vest is very visible because I can hear drivers slow down right away. The orange is very visible in the daylight too.For sizing, this is really sized for men. I am female. I usually wear a ladies XL and I ordered an XL in this vest. The chest area is more than adequate but the hips are tight. It's fine for me to wear and zip up in summer over jeans and a tee, or even a light sweater, but it would be too small in the hips to wear and zip over a typical hoodie. I have other men's XL viz vests and they mostly do fit and zip over a hoodie or a fall jacket. The company doesn't give a size for hips, just chest and length. I would recommend that women size up for hip room.

I used mine every day Monday-Fri for 6 months and the pockets don’t hold up very well. Mind you I used the pockets for my chalk box, tape measure, screws all kinda of things. The chest pockets held up well, but the waist pockets could use some reinforcement.
