This scar tape is exactly what I was looking for! The roll format is super convenient — I can cut it to the exact size I need, which means no waste and a perfect fit every time. I think these worked well on my top surgery scars. The perforations were convenient as I knew how many sections I needed to be able to cut it in half length wise and over both sides of my scars. It did take some getting used to in order for the perforations to not split open as my body moved around and stretched. I found that if I removed it bit by bit from the paper and then relaxed it so that it wasn’t stretched at all and laid it flat against my scar it would happen less. It regularly lasted me through a few showers and even through work outs. Here are my scars about a month out, right before I started using them vs 8 months out, two months after I stopped using them. Not sure how much is just natural scar healing but I feel as though it helped a lot to keep the scars moisturized to provide a good healing environment. It also helped me feel less like I was gonna pop open at the seams when it was still early on in the recovery process.

This product sticks so great you can take a shower or do anything ,and it does not come off ,until you're ready to take it off!!!An then it peels off so easily !! Can't believe it sticks so well. *NICE*I wear it to help my scar get better of course and also for protection from the sun..Great product!!Scar help ? just started using it ,so hopefully.I use Mederma for the scar but this product was purchased for sun protection mainly,,, it might or might not say UV protectant but when I'm out in the sun and I get some sun and this is often I live in Hawaii and I work in my yard a lot half dressed haha..The area where this is stays white and pink ,not red when I get a sunburn, so it does help protect, how much I don't know ,but good enough .I rather use this than an ugly bandage that would be gigantic , and the big ones either have sticky on the ends and they don't stay on or they have too much sticky and stay on and then I hurt your wound,, this one sticks like crazy but a soft stick I can't explain , no pain it just peels right off !!You can cut this to size ,so I cut it long and skinny. Hopefully it gives me a little bonus in helping me get rid of this 3.5 inch surgical scar on the back of my shoulder also...Very happy with this product..

The silicon arrived with tape on it to keep it rolled up. The tape was so sticky that it tore out a chunk of the silicon when I carefully attempted to remove it. The depth of the silicon is so thin that it requires some patience putting it on the scar and taking it off. The width of the roll is two inches, but the width of the silicon is closer to 1.4" instead of 1.6". I have not measured the length, but at this rate I am assuming it will be shorter than listed.Otherwise, the silicon seems to be doing the job. It adheres well. One of the scars is on my palm, so I wear silicon on it at night. In the morning I can forget it is still on my palm and I start doing things. I am impressed that it has endured hand washing.

Used these on mastectomy scars. Easy to put on and cut to the shape of my scars as they are all not a straight lines. Not irritating. Work great. Flesh color and and worn fine with bras.

Very easy & nice to use BUT I did not feel it see a difference in my scar BUT my scars are deep & tight from hip replacement

I don’t ever write reviews but I had to come on here because of how amazing this product is. As a breast cancer survivor, I have many a scars from surgeries and treatment. One that would’ve been highly visible in my wedding dress which was upsetting to me. My surgeon recommended this scar tape and now the scar will be hardly noticeable. The pictures are 2 months apart. This stuff is amazing.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My PT has been prepping me for a shoulder/rotator repair surgery. She casually commented about my cervical fusion scar on the front of my neck. What did the doctors recommend to help soften the strong scar tissue left behind? I told her how multiple doctors had commented but no one offered any suggestions other than to ask my primary. So I’ve been living with this taught, ugly scar for a decade.She cut a piece of in strips. Said to place in on, rub it to stay in place and leave on for a couple of days. Remove it, let it breathe and repeat. Easy as can be. I wasn’t holding out for any changes but wanted to try it out.It works!!! I was so shocked. My scar is softer and less tight (when I tilt my head back). The depth of it has reduce a little in size. I don’t expect this to get rid of it, but when she said it was online I had to buy some. I’m appreciative that it’s helping and my husband likes that the scar tissue is not hurting me when I turn my head.I cannot thank my PT enough for offering something to try and on top of that, something that actually helped!
