What is the difference between xct oil and brain octane made by same company and do I need both?

I did a little research on this. I'm not sure if you have found out since, but don't quote me on this. The XCT or MCT oils are made using 8 lbs of of coconut oil and pressure, whereas the Brain Octane uses double that at 16lbs. This makes the Brain Octane twice as concentrated. You do not need both. I will say I saw a difference when I used the Brain Octane as opposed to a 100% Virgin, unrefined, organic coconut oil though. Plus it has no odor or taste. I'm finding the longer I eat the coconut oil, the more I dislike the aftertaste. Hope this helps.

Does xct oil help with brain fog

Yes! I feel like Im walking on air! Be sure to take it slow and work your way up to the recommended amount, if you aren't used to it it can have some unpleasant consequences. I do recommend it!

Does this product contain only c8 triglycerides?

Yes but not as much as the brain octain. Brain octane is 100% c8 while the xct is a blend of c8 and c10. Thats also why its cheaper, c8 is harder to obtain in quantity as there isnt as much of it in coconut oil.

Would this work in a general weight loss program not just in a keto diet?

Absolutely! I coach many of my clients through a plantbased detox program and it includes this oil as a morning ritual in tea, coffee or a spoonful by itself. It is excellent for energy and makes one feel satiated and more. You don’t have to be following a keto diet to benefit from this oil.
