I wasn’t too sure about it. But this was exactly what I was looking for and it is exactly as advertised. Great product.

This item shipped and arrived quick. I have never seen a pipe like this before and after reading the details I had to order one. The pipe arrives in a decent box with factory form fitting foam cut out for the pipe. This smoking pipe has a built in electronic ignition lighter and a butane refill port. The pipe DOES NOT come pre-filled with butane so you will need to buy a bottle. The pipe is very easy to use, set up and compact enough to carry with you. The lighters ignition button is located on the lower front, below the bowl which gives you good leverage to light and draw. The butane refill port is on the bottom. You can easily adjust the flame intensity by removing the rectangular shaped metal tab located on top of the pipe that is held in place by a magnet and it easily reattaches. There is a very small screw underneath to adjust the flame. To adjust the flame you simply turn the small Phillips head screw in or out to adjust the lighters flame length. This pipe comes with a few pipe cleaners, bowl screens, and some tar filters. The draw tip that you place to your mouth easily comes off by pulling to clean it and that is also where you install the tar cartridges if you wish too. My pipe was perfectly adjusted from the factory and I did not have to do anything other than smoke it. The pipe surprisingly smokes pretty good in my opinion. When you fill this pipe with butane make sure to ignite the lighter a few times to let the overhead pressure regulate as the flame will be long at first but will settle down to normal in a few seconds. Overall this is a pretty cool pipe and lighter in one. I will purchase another and recommend them. The cost was really fair and I rated this item 5 stars.

The pipe is plastic with a steel bowl insert, hopefully it doesn't melt. The lighter part operates okay and works on the smoke, that works okay but it's not as smooth as a wood pipe. The only real problem is the fill port for the butane, which leaks a lot when filled direct from the butane can, one of my butane adapters works a little better, but the fill port needs one of those little rubber inserts and that would be an improvement. I give the pipe three stars for it's overall quality, although it's great as a novelty.I really like the bonus kit with the Dr. Perl filters, pipe cleaners, and screens. The box is also nice. One star added for all of the extras.

less tools to get the job done makes me a happy customer. flame works great and cn only lose one thing now !

Doesn’t hold the gas in the lighter! Have to refill every minute

This is Scotty Brand pipe that has a refillable lighter attached to it. Unlike other Scottie pipes I have seen in the past this one is made from plastic and seems very novelty versus functional. This pipe has some features that I would never consider using. I have been using different types of plastics in my work over the last decade and am fully aware of plastic fumes being toxic, making this pipe completely unusable for me. This is more of a decoration or a conversation piece in my collection. This pipe has a black button on the backside of it to ignite a lighter where the gas is stored underneath and beside the bowl and feel like this is a complete fail on the engineering aspect of this pipe. This pipe looks great until you realize that the entire thing is made from plastic. This comes with decent accessories, screens, pipe cleaners, and pipe filters, but with an unusable pipe it makes the accessories unusable as well.Outside of enjoying the looks of this, this has been completely useless for me. I feel the value on this is not very good unless you're just looking for a decoration on a pipe shelf to fill a spot. I would never consider using this or recommending this for use, giving this a poor value for the cost in my opinion and at the time of this review.Overall, I would highly suggest to not use this for its intended purpose and keep this as novelty item that you talk about instead of use. I would probably never consider recommending something like this.

This looks like a great little pipe. Appearance at a distance is fantastic. Burled wood with stainless accents makes for a very sharp look. It certainly catches the eye and I've had a number of friends ask about it when they've seen it on my desk.Unfortunately it's all flash and little function. The shell is all plastic and feels thin/low quality. There's also the concern of toxicity from plastic fumes, especially when they are heated. Given this designed to heat up I'd be concerned using it frequently. The bowl is a little on the small side but packs in well. The butane port is hard to get a good seal when filling and I ended up with a fair amount of overspray. It also seemed to have a constant slow leak and I'd end up needing to refill every couple of days.The included accessories are nice. It does disassemble easily for cleaning and I was able to clean it easily. However I'd only consider it for a conversation piece. Not a great value is you want a functional pipe. If the body was wood rather than plastic and the butane port was reworked to improve filling/holding then this would be a great little pipe. As it is though I'd only consider it for the novelty not practicality.

The media could not be loaded. I'm impressed with the performance and good quality of this Portable Pipe, Mini Pipe with Refillable Pipe Lighter function by Scotte that I ordered from Amazon. This handheld pipe is made of a durable plastic that feels lightweight but sturdy in my hand. My favorite part is the built in lighter function, which works very well. The lighter button is located at the top of the pipe next to the bowl, and there is a port to refill the lighter on the bottom of the pipe. The pipe stem is removable for easy cleaning, and it has space to insert a filter if desired. The manufacturer included five filters, five screens and five pipe cleaning stems in the box along with the pipe.
